I guess the Moosehead fans have larger goals than us poor Seadog fans. I could careless if we finish first in the QMJHL as long as we finish first in the Eastern Division. But enough about Hali, I'm not going to give them any more thought until January 20th. You should care about first place in the QMJHL. The team that has finished first overall in the regular season has gone on to win the President Cup the last 4 years in a row. Maybe I'm just happy that we are going to the playoffs for the first time ever....... |

Congrats the Dogs on arriving at the top of the Q's East Division.
IMO, this is a sign the team should be making some moves. Maybe not going ALL out, but I see no reason the core of your team can't make a run at it in back to back seasons. If you finish last twice in a row, no sense not trying to be the best two years in a row if you have the horses for it. Maybe trade some picks and mid-level prospects this year, and then next year GO ALL OUT.

We have been at the bottom 2 years in a row so we'll take being first in the division right now not overly concerned about being 1st overall in the Q but for the record with the games they have in hand on the 2 teams ahead of them ya never know. |

I just don't know why anyone would be saying they "couldn't care less" about finishing 1st overall when in my opinion there is a chance Saint John could finish that high. What's wrong with that? |
