Morehouse - I loved his little dive in the last of the 3rd period trying to get Dido a penalty. You would think this little cocksucker was from Europe with the way he was diving around the ice. And then when Morehouse and Stich were in the penalty box Morehouse was telling Stich to drop em when he got out, so they both get out of the penalty box and Stich is yelling to Morehouse to drop them, and guess who skates to the bench like a little fairy ? Yup, you got that right, Morehouse. He's all talk. That's all he is. I would love to see him drop the gloves with EVERYBODY he challenges. I agree with Chillywack. Classy or not Dont care. Morehouse is a p***y.

I have no clue if CatsFan was talking about me ... but yes, I'd be going to every Cats game because I do work in Moncton, but I also go to as many Sea Dog games as I can. Sea Dogs are the team I cheer for. Moncton? Not so much.

I thought your guys goalie played really well.. even more so being his first game. I thought it was a bit of a scrambly game and either team could have gone home with the win. Cats took advantage of their PP and that was pretty much what won them the game.

SEA DOGS FALL TO WILDCATS 4-3 AT MONCTON COLISUEM Saint John Enters Mid-Season Break With Record of 22-10-1-2
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Sunday, December 16, 2007
MONCTON, NB --- In their third head-to-head match-up of the 2007-08 campaign, the Moncton Wildcats defeated the Saint John Sea Dogs for the first time this season on Sunday afternoon, earning a 4-3 victory at the expense of their divisional foes at their home arena.
After the opening two periods of play produced a 1-1 tie, Moncton scored thrice on the power play in regulation’s final frame to outpace Saint John on the scoreboard by a single tally as the visiting squad from Port City very nearly earned a comeback victory on the road in their final match prior to commencing a twelve day break from competitive action.
Devon MacAusland, Jesse Biduke, Matt Marquardt and Matt Eagles all scored goals for Moncton on Sunday, while Alexandre Leduc, Scott Howes, and Keven Charland replied for Saint John.
Wlidcats net minder Nicola Riopel turned in a solid performance for his team, stopping 26 of the 29 shots sent his way to earn his tenth win of the season. Meanwhile, in his QMJHL debut, freshman goaltender Troy Passingham performed admirably between the pipes for Saint John, making 32 saves on 36 shots in a losing effort.
The rookie was tested early on Sunday, with Matt Eagles getting off a hard, low wrist shot on the fly from close range that Passignham was able to stop by stacking his pads in the third minute of play.
The intense rivalry which exists between the geographically neighbouring teams was put on display at the 3:56 mark of the first period when tough guys Brett Gallant and Kalan Herr squared off near centre ice for an early-game bout of fisticuffs. Gallant earned a victory by unanimous decision in the tilt, getting in several solid shots throughout the lengthy scrap. In addition to receiving a ten-minute misconduct for getting in a late cheap shot on Gallant after the bout had been decided, Herr was awarded a two minute penalty for charging, giving Saint John their first man-up opportunity of the match.
Despite some decent pressure from the Sea Dogs’ offensive special teams unit during their first power play of the afternoon, the Wildcats were able to keep Saint John from converting as Riopel stood his ground well in goal for the home team.
Saint John’s penalty killing unit also proved victorious in their first appearance, thwarting Moncton’s PP brigade midway through the first to keep the score tied 0-0.
The visitors again came up empty on their second power play session of the game in the closing minute so of the opening frame, as the first twenty minutes of play came to an end having failed to produce a goal at either end of the ice.
Scott Howes gave the Sea Dogs a 1-0 lead 3:05 into the second period, rocketing a wrist shot over Rippola’s left shoulder to earn his 19th tally of the season with Michael Kirkpatrick picking up the lone assist on the successful scoring play.
Moncton responded 7:29 later, with Matt Eagles beating Passingham with a quick backhand shot after being set up in front of Saint John’s net on a nifty feed from Phil Mangan.
Neither team was able to add to their respective goal totals in the second half of the middle frame, as Sunday’s intra-provincial showdown reached the forty minute mark with the score deadlocked at one apiece.
The Wildcats took their first lead of the afternoon 2:45 into the third period, with Matt Marquardt ripping a one-timer from the slot to the back of the Saint John net, earning his 20th goal of the season in the process as Moncton went ahead 2-1 with a power play marker.
Some exhilerating end-to-end action was then staged, with both teams producing high-quality scoring chances over the course of several exhilarating minutes of major junior hockey.
The home team then struck again on the power play with 8:15 remaining in regulation, with Devon MacAusland scoring his second goal of the year to make the score 3-1 in favour of the host squad.
Alexandre Leduc then pulled the Sea Dogs back to within one of the Wildcats two minutes later, banging a loose puck to the back of the Moncton net as the visitors regained the momentum in the late-going. The Sea Dogs’ surge continued, as Keven Charland knocked a rebound past a sprawling Riopel to tie things up at three apiece at the 55:24 mark of the game.
Moncton received a tremendous opportunity to retake the lead late in the third when, with Chris DiDomenico in the penalty box, Yann Sauve was assessed a two-minute minor for delay of game to hand the Wildcats a two-man advantage with 3:10 remaining in regulation.
The home team took full advantage of the favourable numerical discrepancy, as Jesse Biduke beat Passingham ten seconds into the 5-on-3 session to produce the fourth goal of the day for Moncton.
Saint John registered several scoring chances in the closing minutes of Sunday’s contest, but were ultimately unable to produce the tying goal, as the Wildcats were able to hold on for the one-goal victory, improving to 14-18-2-4 on the season and tying the St. John’s Fog Devils for seventh place in the East Division.
The Sea Dogs are now in third place in the East, one point behind the Halifax Mooseheads for second and three back of Cape Breton for first. Saint John next hits the ice on Friday, December 28 for a road contest versus the Acadie-Bathurst Titan.

I watched NFL instead of the game because I was planning to go to Moncton for it but the weather possibilities made the decision to cancel an easy one. Without watching though...everytime we play Moncton, win or lose, we seem to post all about Morehouse. I don't like the guy and don't even consider him to be one of those players that you hate unless he is on your team. I'd hate him even if he wore a Sea Dogs uniform. That said...he gets the job done against us more often than not. He really has found his way permanently under the skin of most of our players. If Moncton wins and everyone is bitching about Morehouse, he did his job, unfortunately.
