It is a battle for first, for Halifax. Win and they stay in 1st place. Lose and they drop behind us, and possibly Cape Breton. There you go.

It is a battle for first, for Halifax. Win and they stay in 1st place. Lose and they drop behind us, and possibly Cape Breton. For us it's a battle to get to the weekend with no more injuries as we are playing another 3 in 3 weekend. Bodnarchuk was cut today by Team Canada so he could be in the lineup tommorrow, my guess is he will be rested and play on Saturday and Sunday at home. Logan MacMillan is out until after the break and Vorachek is at home getting ready for Team Canada on Boxing Day, that takes 2/3's of our first line out. I'm giving this one to the Dogs 4-2. On Monday our first trade will take place and our roster will get thinner until everyone is back from the WJC, so it's just a weekend of damage control.

I would truly like to feel sorry for the Mosse but unfortunately I can't. We have been playing short for a while and not many expected us to come through the last few weeks as well as we have. If Halifax is planning to go for it this year then they better have more than one line. I in no way see this as a free win for the Dogs. Last game we squeeked out a win against them and scored when we had to. The Moose are a great team and we are not falling for this lack of players BS. We were capable of doing it and so are they.
