Sea Dogs are off to a 3 game road trip to the Province of Quebec. I attached a poll to see everyone's opinions on how they will do.
11/14 vs Quebec Remparts 11/16 vs Chicoutimi Sagueneens 11/17 vs Baie Comeau Drakkar
I would be very happy too see them pull 4 points out of these 6 games.
I would also like to see Dido keep his 11 game point scoring streak alive and would love to see Gauthier break out of his 19 game goal-less streak come to an end. Seriously, Gauthier should have more than 1 goal 21 games into the season with the amount of ice time that he gets. All three 4th liners have more goals than him. He is last in goals when it comes to forwards.

I say 4 points. Would be happy with that. Anymore would be gravy. Is Liske making this trip or is he still hurt? Haven't heard much about him or the injury. Would be nice if the Dogs would put out injury updates in their press releases.

I seen Liske the other day with an aircast on his leg. Doubt he will be playing on this road trip.

3 points. I also agree that Guathier needs to break the streak. I'd like to say 4 points but I don't know if they're up to that

If they win the first game 4 points but if they lose the game 2 points.
Give Thomas a chance in Gauthier's spot. 21 games is giving a guy every opportunity to step up and he has not done that. Give anyone else 20 games on that line and I bet they score more than once.
Someone told me he is going to be out up to a month for an off ice accident. Must have torn some ligaments doing something. The walking cast thing he had on was the same one my buddy had to wear when he did his ankle in a pick up basketball game. Certainly it was not an on ice injury or we would have seen it or at least heard of it. The Dogs lack of comment makes me think he hurt himself doing something off ice.

Yeah I'm the guy that voted 1 point, and only because there is no "zero points" option.
We haven't had a bad spell yet this year, so we're due for one. All teams have them at some point. I'll predict we come out hard against Quebec to try and beat Roy and Espo...and just fall short, losing in OT or shootout to get our one point. The let down from that causes us to lose the next two games, but then we come back home and get things back on track.

Not going to be easy points for sure but I think the boys have it in them to split it and bring home 3 of the possible 6 points. Quebec is 7-2 at home Chic. is 4-7 and B.C. is 9-2-0-1 so i'm going with the numbers and saying a win in Chic. , O.T loss in Quebec City and the loss in B.C. on Sat. night Mayer is 3.50 gaa. in 240 min. with 14 goals against and an .876 sv.% on the road. Fullerton is 3.93 gaa. in 305 min. with 20 goals against and an .867 sv.% otr. Overall Goaltenders(QMJHL) 1st. Que. Defos. 2.24 .924 2nd. Bac. Cous. 2.38 .913 T.4th Chi. Nad. 2.61 .902 6th ST. J. Full. 2.79 .905

I said 4 points because I'm an optimist. I think the scenario Leaskismyhero spelled out is entirely possible too. I just think Fully's playing well, and the Dogs have been in a lot of close games, so maybe 1 win and 2 loser points, or 2 close wins.

3 pts = success. It's a verry tough trip, but this franchise has almost always played well in Quebec.

Québec is playing some great hockey right now.
They have allowed very few goals recently.
Should be a great game... Petit...Stefanovich.. Tessier... Sauvé.. Esposito... Marchessault are all on fire.
Defensively... you guys have Despres... Just watch out Tam... he is VERY impressive.

Hopefully, they won't pay any attention to Grant, Sauve, and Stich

Grant - Not from Quebec so can't mention him. Same for Dido, or Howes, or Sparling, or Fullerton. Aren't those players doing rather well right now too? Can't mention Picard Hooper either, because he had the audacity to want out of Quebec. ;D
