News out of Chicoutimi : Game to be completed from the 3rd period on SUNDAY. Well THANK GOD for that, you guys were on quite the little tantrum... pretty much assumed refs were going to be biased and that your playoffs hopes were killed... what a spectacle that thread was.. When has the league ever screwed you by the way? Yeah cuz if it was your team you wouldn't be pissed at all would ya?

I wouldnt be flooding the emails of the league office in protest and swearing like a sailor.... But all this was done ("the league has ruined us again!", email, protest etc) before anyone even dug up the correct rule... and if they did stick to the decision the game would be replayed... it must be the rule or their must be a precedent... they wouldnt have decided it because it was Saint John and you guys were winning! But seriously, a few mentioned how the commish hates you and the league screwed you again... I dont remember anything in your 2 years where you guys were screwed... what are you talking about?

You can forgive the Moose fans, the league has been keeping them down since they joined the league 11/12 years ago, so you have to wait in line before you can use that card ;D

Theres nothing wrong with anything anyone said or did we were pissed off and we wanted to voice our opinion and in the beginning they did say they were going to wipe the game completely. But like I said if the shoe was on another foot it'd be ok. Just because you wouldn't be flooding the league office doesn't make it wrong for those of us that did it was even posted on the Sea Dogs website it wasn't just something we drummed up in our heads.

I also had an email reply from Wayne Long at about 8 this morning and he did inform me they had been working on this all night back and forth so it looks like the Sea Dogs were not happy at all with the original decision and who can blame them.

Wonder if this has ever happened in the league before last night....and if so what they did in that instance, if anyone knows of any please share the story with the rest of us......really seems kinda' strange that they make one ruling last night and change it today, if in fact that is what happened. The descision to wipe the game from the books and play it at the end of the season "if nesessary" made no sense from the get-go, so maybe it wasn't actually ever the truth, but a rumor that was passed along before the league was ever consulted on the situation. Not saying that is the case but stranger things have been known to take place....at least the right descision was made in the end......one that's fair to both teams, I wonder how many people will be there to watch one period with the home team starting from four goals down....not many I would think.

If the game isn't on TELUS, our friendly play-by-play man Tim Roszell will have the the Saint John Sea Dogs @ Chicoutimi Sagunéens part DEUX beginning at 4:55pm.

Bjindaho, I don't think it's a problem as they are doing usually 8 games at once on Friday nights.
