After listening to different people at the games, there has been some debate about whether it would be better for us to go to Bathurst on December 7th, or December 28th. Either game is on a Friday evening. I'd like to get people's opinions....

I never voted as both days are about equally far from a guarantee I'll be able to attend.

I know that....but seeing if there is any interest in changing the date...might be easier for some people to go on the 7th.

To be frank, I think you'll have a hard time filling any day. Both days are a Friday, which may be tough for quite a few people to get off work this late, and they are both near Christmas. You might end up having a bus full of senior citizens from the nursing home  . |

There isn't alot to choose from for dates...people don't want to go to Moncton by bus cuz it's just a short drive....Halifax we already have a trip planned in March....PEI..only 1 PEI game left..and it's in January on a Wednesday....St. John's...probably won't happen unless you wanna dish out $400 right after Christmas...Most of their other road games are somewhere in Quebec...not alot to pick from...

I'm lucky enough to be on holidays for the 28th, so 7th wouldn't work for me, I'd have to back out. Got to go with majority though if it comes to going ahead or cancelling I guess.
Mind if I ask what your numbers look like for the 28th right now?

I am in the same boat as Matt. I am on holidays during the 28th and not the 7th. I'm sure if I really wanted to I could get the 7th off, but I voted for the 28th.

I take it the reason for this is that you dont have enough for the 28TH? because if you do why ask. Nobody mentioned PEI, NFLD or Quebec. We know our road sched sux!!! Why rant aboout it. Do you have many for Halifax?

I was only replying partially to Rick's post, because some people that don't post on this board but do read it, have asked me about Newfoundland & Quebec trips.
I'm just trying to see if there would of been more of an interest before Christmas or after Christmas...that's all.
Halifax will probably be full by the response I got a few weeks ago.

I need a minimum of 30 people in order for the trip to go. I will need the money & confirmation that people are going by December 9th. |
