After having earned points in five of their past six games, the Saint John Sea Dogs will host the Chicoutimi Saguenéens on Saturday night at Harbour Station. Saint John is 2-2 all-time versus Chicoutimi, having earned wins in each of the past two seasons versus the Telus Division's eighth-place finishers from a year ago. The Saguenéens are led by top scorer Francis Pare, who averaged a point per game (10G-11A) over the course of his first 21 games played. The Sea Dogs, meanwhile, continue to be led offensively by 18-year old centre Chris DiDomenico, who now has 28 points (15G-13A) in 20 games played. Overage winger Scott Howes has been contributing heavily to Saint John’s offensive output as of late. The Toronto, ON native registered 2G-2A-4P in Thursday night’s overtime loss to Halifax, one day after providing the game-winning shootout goal in the Sea Dogs’ 4-3 road win over the Moncton Wildcats. Howes now has 6G-6A-12P in 14GP for Saint John after having been acquired from the Drummondville Voltigeurs in exchange for a pair of draft picks on October 2. Game time on Saturday is set for 7:00pm. Fans can catch the action live by tuning into News 88.9 FM ( www.news889.com/),or by logging onto the official webcast at qmjhl.mytelus.com/. Tickets are available by clicking HERE, or by calling the Harbour Station Box Office at (506) 657-1234.

With Martel's reputation, he probably roasted his team after that loss. Can see them responding with a better effort tonight. Hope the Dogs are ready. They've come out flat the first period of the last few games. The standings are pretty close, two points would be nice before the road trip.

There wasnt really a player that stood out for the sags it the last game. But then again, looking at the score, their whole team was barly noticable.

One of the worst offenses against one of the best defenses, either 4-0 Dogs or 7-3 Sags.

Should be interesting to see how the sags respond to the beating they took last night....these two points would be nice to have going on the road to La belle province this week. It would be terrible to get beat by a team that was hammered less than 24 hrs. ago by the titan(I can hear porky now).......so I have faith in our side and will say 7-3 for the good guys. GO DOGS GO!!

1-0 and no sign the Sags have anything to offer tonight. No one is moving their feet. It might be another 10-0 game.
Gallant handled Rechlicz easily.

Eeked this one out. Shouldn't of been this close. Can't be blowing these leads. Where would the Dogs be without Dido. Nontheless, a win is a win. Two points, next up Quebec. Hate playing a team after they've had their asses kicked.

Take the two but we did get lucky. No way that team should have over 40 shots on us. I think it is the same thing again with fresh legs we could use sitting on the bench. If JB does not start using and developing some other players this is going to come back to haunt us. That is two games in a row you could see the legs go. Fullerton should have been the 1st star he saved our butts. Dido had two of the easiest goals of his life but Fullerton was the man. Just my opinion but after the road trip if the bench does not play we start to slide if not before. I will take the 5 out of 6 though at home.

Sorry guys on to nights game, I agree Fullerton was a star, I thought Sparling was by far our most effective player. Dido wasn't as sharp as he usually is but still played a good game. I agree without Dido we would be in trouble for sure, but it is soooo nice to see how Dido and Sparling are clicking!!!!As someone said a while ago.....whoever you play with Dido and Sparling they are going to be rewarded.
