Thats the fans, it makes a ton of sense!!! Hurting for attendance? Bring in a local tough guy that CAN play the game!!! He will put asses in the seats. They are going nowhere this year and they know it. Now you have to find a way to keep fans as you improve

That would have been fun and some night very entertaining. |

Yeah, Howes has much more potential to improve the Dogs than Gallant would have. Nice to have him back in the league though.

PEI has a much better team than what the standings would indicate atm. They still need to pick up a couple better D-men but picking up Gallant might be a little shot in the arm for the team to get them back on track for a while.
Nice to see him back in the Q and I'll probably watch a few PEI webcasts now just hoping to watch him scrap.

Agreed, the Dogs will be better off with Howes than they would have been with Gallant IMO.
He will likely score twice as many points this year as Gallant , will sit in the penalty box half as much, and can play on any of the lines 1-4. Good for Brad, being given another chance in the Q. but as far as which is the better fit here in Saint John, my vote goes to Scott Howes.
