The Saint John Sea Dogs kick off their 2007-08 season later this evening when they travel to Androscoggin Bank Coliseum to face the defending President’s Cup Champion Lewiston MAINEiacs. Game time is slated for 7:00pm EST/8:00pm AST. Fans can catch the action live on Thursday night by logging onto www.telus.com/lhjmq and viewing the official league webcast. The game is also being broadcast locally on News 88.9 FM, the official radio partner of the Saint John Sea Dogs. If Fullerton can break the habit of being scored on in the first few shots and the team starts off strong, we should have a very good chance at going into Lewiston and coming out with the "W"
It's nice to be playing against them with Perron and Bernier still away at NHL training camp.

I am really hoping we can get a W here and I think that we should. I think we are going to be in tough against PEI. Would be nice to have a split on the road to start the season before we have a 4 game home stand.

Got my beer, getting my pizza, my new pc didn't make it on time, but my 22" widescreen did. Counting the minutes Prediction: We start the season with a bang! 4-0 Dogs. 1st star Sauvé.

GDT<-"Game Day Thread" It's use is encouraged to keep the number of threads down and easily recognizeable. Sports forum protocol dictates that starters of winning GDTs must continue starting them at least as long as the team's winning streak continues.

"Season opener in Lewiston" threw me off ...for some reason...I'll be sure to look for GDT first from now on though, thanks, didn't know about protocol either, thanks again.
