Gallant doesn't have skills and if in a strong season you are thinking of using him as a 20yo something is desperately wrong. Gallant didnt give Henegen one of his best bouts, Henegen won the fight easily - as he should have with a top heavy against a middleweight. Gallant is a valuable player at 18/19 but you build him up to be something he is not. He is not a good player, he is on the team for one reason. He is not an overager. Did you see fight , no. I supose one of your very close ,close freinds did. Yes I did see the fight - unlike you -, hence why I commented on how easy a win it was for Henegen. If you had of seen the fight you wouldnt be trying to argue that Gallant had a good showing. It wasn't as bad as the 2 beatings Menard gave him but he got his ass handed to him. I work for a multinational media company, footage is not a problem so I can tlak from experience unlike people like you making things up to try and make your loverboy seem better.

Loverboy thats real professional.LOL. If thats the case it should be no problem for you to show the video to all of us. Putup or shutup. Everytime someone mentions Gallant you troll over to the site and if its black you call it white. And if anyone trys to question you you degrade them with your Loverboy comments. Sounds like you bragging that you work for a mutinatinalmedia company, big words trying to impress all of us I guess. The profile I get on you is that you probley did play hockey once and never had the balls to stay at it ,sit in that big office for that mega company and let everyone no how f**king important you are.Troll back over and talk about your tough guys in halifax, that should keep you busy for what 10 seconds.Im waiting to see that video so if you have any creditablity well see it . If not you better stay in that shitthole of a office and let the people that try to be creditable voice their oppinion.

The numbers say next year is a year to go for it, but to do that we need guys like Stoddard, Pard, Kirkpatrick, Despres, and Anthony to develop well. I was impressed with what little I saw of Guathier so far in camp. IMO he's physically stronger. What do you do if he wracks up a ppg or better? I don't think it will happen, I'd be happy with 50, but he's capable of it if he gets the ice time and pairings. My thoughts after tonight's game: -Guathier will not be here as a 20. -Anthony is the real deal. -Despres could be #2 by season's end. -Pard's development since last season has been phenomenal. -I was doubting Kirkpatrick after period 1, but he showed some good skill the rest of the game. -McDonald will be part of next season(s)

I like Brett Gallant and all but....in this case Catatonic Moose is correct. If the Dogs decide to make a big run at it next year, you fill those 20 slots with players capable of a PPG. Nothing against Brett. Just saying. Contending teams milk the 3 20 slots for offense or amazing D or superb goaltending. Not enforcers. Unless you're Lewiston.... ....Remember Manson

this is a good one of Menard destroying him How did Menard get into this. Yes brett fought 30plus times last year and that was the only lopsided fight he lost but came back 2 weeks later and had a good toe to toe battle with him. Lewey were showing videos show us the 2 fights where Spenser destroys Manson last year. For that matter show us the 2 fights Manson had with the much smaller Brad Gallant . You have not got much to talk about.

Unless you're Lewiston.... ....Remember Manson Yeah and the fact that they wouldn't pull the trigger on a trade and get them a high powered scorer instead of Manson as a 20 likely cost them the Memorial Cup. It certainly made it easier to eliminate them once Cliche got hurt. A team like us last year with nothing to play for can have a 20 year old Manson as a tough guy. Lewiston should have had a Brett Gallant doing it, or equivalent under 20 year old tough guy.

I personally like both Gallant brothers and never mentioned anything about Manson and Spencer fight at all..so I am not sure where that came from. I agree Manson lost both fights against Spencer...but that was not what the topic was about

Just some things to ponder... Our 19s for this year are: Gauthier, Liske, McNeil, Sparling, Gallant If Liske has the kind of year every one knows he is capable of, he could be an impact 20 for us next year. Sparling seems like he might progress towards becoming our first home-grown impact 20. Gauthier has virtually no chance of being on the team next year, so if we could somehow pad his stats to make him appealing to someone else, that'd be cool. ... Forwards-wise, I think Dido will be here for three more years, which should enable our forward core to strengthen over the next three. As of today, I'd bet that Sparling and Liske will be 2 of your 20s next year, and Gauthier would be around until you get a better 20 year old, kinda like Peters in Halifax this year. I don't think there's any reason to keep McNeil at all. I don't think DiDo will play in the Q as a 20 year old. I'd bet he'll be signed and in the AHL at 20.

20's don't have to be home grown. If you're "going for it" then it is totally forgivable to go out and trade for 20's. Look at Moncton getting Dupuis and Tordjman in our year. You can try to pull a Lewiston but a 20 year old goon will only do so much for you. Who do you rather have, Dupuis or Manson in a Memorial Cup?
