Not really the point and I'm sure nobody here is getting to excited over preseason games but it sure is a reason to be optimistic! ;D No, it is not. It means nothing. AT THIS PACE WE WOULD FINISH WITH MORE THAN 120 POINTS THAT'S FRIGGIN AWESOME!! It means that much lol ;D |

Math or hockey knowledge is not your forte.
Any hockey fan with half a brain knows that calculating winning percentage in hockey is figured with points and not wins or losses.
W% = Pts/Total Possible Points
.583 = 7/12

Wins divided by games is winning % Q style, so does this mean you admit to having less than a half a brain  |

Dosen't suprise me that the Q figures out winning percentage completely wrong. Considering the OHL, WHL, AHL, and the NHL calculates winning percentage from the method that I mentioned lead me to believe that is the only way.
Crazy french rules...

I know it is only pre-season but I couldn't resist. With the Moncton loss tonight the Saint John Sea Dogs have taken over first place in the East division based on winning %. Exhibition season or not it still sounds real good. |
