Game was pretty good. Boring at points but still some fun parts. Fights were pretty good. Thomas killed his dude. Sparling opened up Smearer and Smearer opened up Sparling pretty nice. Fullerton let one very weak shot in and we lost by 1. Oh well he did awesome after that. Tardif was amazing in net. Thought McNeil had our goal for some reason

Goal 2 was a two man breakaway.

Some thoughts: Sparling, Leduc, and Stoddard have gotten a lot faster. They can all fly now. Liske was amazing out there. He used his size well, and can skate pretty well. Gauthier had a nice game. Nothing complicated. The 2 on 0 resulted from an incredibly poor play at the bench by the forward, and Sauve moving up with the rush. Sauve and Despres need to play together. Permanently. They are monsters together. Leduc did A LOT of backchecking. Despres threw a beauty hip check, then disposessed Couture on a partial breakaway. Thomas can move out there. In fact, he was killing penalties and did an amazing job with 3 blocked shots. Fullerton did a terrible job on the 2 on 0. I'm not sure what he was thinking but unless that puck was shot at his chest, it was going in. Amyot looked good out there. He was pokecheck first, but laid the body when needed, and made Mailloux look bad a couple of times with physical play. Clendenning took a run at Sauve and Sauve got a delay of game penalty on the play. The puck actually hit Clendenning on the way out, and Sauve got a 10 for arguing. Leduc did too. McNeil threw a puck out of play. Hopefully he gets yelled at, because his not owning up to it, meant that Despres ended up getting called for it. It was Despres that threw the puck out of play not McNeil.

seems like the games between our teams have been good so far and i hope that their is a rivalry that starts. I think that the only reason we didnt have one before was because the Sea dogs didnt really have a good team. but seeing how you guys got a good team this year..... Good luck to the Sea dogs this year BTW. Here's to a good rivalry.

It looked like McNeil from my vantage point. Pretty sure Despres was on the other side of the ice. And Despres should be playing with Sauve. They worked well together.

Nah Despres threw it over the boards likely stuck in his glove alittle longer then he wanted it to he wouldn't throw it out on purpose he's smarter then that. Also sorry it appears it was not Smearer so I apologize it was infact Legros a guy weighing 225lbs takes on a 163lb light weight then goes and starts shooting his mouth off to Jordan Knox can't wait to see this clown against someone that actually comes close to his size must make him feel tough I suppose I'm even more impressed with Sparling not taking his shit now.

The thing that got Sparling going after the fight ended and when the linesmen came between them, legros took the opportunity to taunt Sparling and laugh at him for being busted up.
I actually figured something like this may happen after the Pisano incident and the Dog's without anyone capable of handling a legit fighter.
From what I have heard Gallant is not too happy about this and will settle the score with Legros
Let the rivalry begin!!!!!! ;D
