Not to say he should or shouldn't have been cut as normally I would not be surprised at this but....doesn't that Quebec schooling rule thing apply to Richer meaning he should have had to have been cut Monday? I'm being lazy here. I know nothing of it and will not bother looking it up.

IMO G-Unit Pard put on size and was much more physical this year. He should stay

Don't know Pard? How do you know Richer any better? We've at least seen Pard several times in different years. This was Richer's first crack at it.
While Richer is younger and likely going to be better than Pard in the future, I prefer Pard for the present by quite a bit.

I think this is the right choice, letting Richer head back and mature for another year. I think Pard played well up in Moncton, he has a nice accurate shot which should get him some goals. Pard also seems to give his all every shift which is what caught my eye during Camp.
Maybe Richer will mirror Pard's development and make the squad next season.

Hear tonight that Phillipe Richer has been sent home. Timing seems a little weird...thought the next cut followed the 3rd ex. game...but really doesn't matter in the long run, does it? Time to get this show on the road ...Who's next Passingham.

...Who's next Passingham. I'm very curious why he's still here. If they are still considering keeping him, there could be a deal for a 20 in the works. I bet they are just negotiating a deal with a MJAHL team.
