Not sure but I didn't see nothin but a practice today everybody had their little piece of paper but alot of good they do when there was no blue & white game at least not when I was there until 3pm lol.
I hate to be negative but it's alittle tough to recognize alot of the guys out there with the exception of a few and I'm gonna have to be negative this time round.
Pisano IMO only others may disagree but he didn't impress me at all today in the practice and maybe it just me but I watched the D pretty close today and he seemed very slow and not at all quick enough changing direction and skating backwards. His passes were not crisp he just seemed tired today. I know he has alot of supporters here but maybe others seen things different then I did today.
All the top 7 defensemen did nothing to change their status today they all looked very good in 3 on 2 and 2 on 1 drills.

Game was in the morning, cuts were made at lunch and practice in the afternoon.

Nah, but I did do it on the Titan board when they were complaining about Bartos not at camp yet, and being late back from Xmas last year, and training camp last year. Quoted the Iverson interview. I deleted the post though cuz I tried adding the video off you tube of that press conference and completely eff'ed the whole thing up.

Yesterday I spent half the time lookin at #'s on the sheet then #'s on the sweaters, and I totally forgot about watching Mr. Mayer. Then after hearing some concern here last nite, I had to stop down today and have another look. Looks fine to me, real fine for a rookie tender.He was the best goalie in the 3 on 2's ,and 2on 1's other than fullerton, both looked good. Half way thru they cleaned the ice then when the players came back Mayer and Fullerton, went to the west end with the goalie coaches and did some drills. The rest did offensive zone drills(5 on 2-d-men)at the other end. The two of them looked solid and they seem to get along with each other quite well from what we could tell,(joking and talking). Reading between the lines it looks to me that these will be our two goalies to start the season, and I think they already know it. |

I've been hearing from a few people that they might be going with 3 goalies to start the season, dont know how much truth there is too it.

I was there tody also and yes the were concentrating on Mayer and Fullerton but you also got to remember that Mayer will gone to the WJHC for at least 3 weeks.
