If we are looking to make the playoffs then we won;t want Dupod in nets for the month Mayer is away at the WJHC. He is a below average goaltender IMO and would be hard pressed to even be a capable back up. Killer, I think you're saying we should keep the Q -tested goaltender ....for now! Thats what I think too ...We will need something more than Dopud has shown so far in Saint John during the WJC when Mayer is representing his country.If we happen to be in some kind of contention for position at that time, it could dissapear quite quickly if Dopud(and saySt.Laurent) couldn't take the heat.! Not saying Fullerton is Marty Brodeur but at least:" I'd" feel better with him than the alternative.
