Did anyone here of an on-ice fight that happened in Fredericton this past weekend, between Brett Gallant & Mike Thomas? Apparently Thomas took Gallant down.
Just wondering if anyone else heard this??

I heard that Gallant does not like Thomas but never heard why. If that keeps up maybe Gallant would be traded? Thomas could turn into a really good fighter anyway. By take him down do you mean he just landed on top of him or won the fight and took him down also.

He won the fight and took him down. Thats good then. Im proud. I Knew Thomas would handle a tough fighter. With him and The "number 2" fighter in the Q Brett Gallant we should be fine in the fights. Thomas should be top 5 know ;D  |

Thomas should be top 5 know ;D Just cause Thomas beat Gallant in a "fight" at a hockey school doesnt mean jack shit. Gallant is up to 195-197, and is hitting harder. I guess we will find out at camp ;D |

I heard this fight took place earlier this summer and wasn't really much of a fight. And for the record, Dooley was murdered by Gallant at camp last year. Just because he stood in there and took a beating doesn't mean he had a draw. I don't recall Dooley landing much in the way of punches, but he took an awful lot.

I heard Thomas was running all the younger players and their was some their at a conditioning camp that were 15 years old and Gallant schooled him. Think about it , if Thomas would have even been close to Gallant you would have heard about the rematch. Pro Thomas Rummor only. If Brett reads this and with training camp close he will likly fix this rummor. Hopfully hes told no fighting at training camp it makes no sense breaking his knunckles on his team mates . Save it for the real games. |

Arent rumours great!!! How about lets talk about Mike and Brett being the Sea Dogs 1-2 punch......not them fighting each other ffs!!! Move on people this year the dogs will not be tarnished by the nay sayers!!!! GO DOGS GO!!!!
