Here's hoping he's OK, for him and for the Dogs.
I'd be happy going in with Fullerton, Knox and Charland as our 20s.

Well some good could come out of this. Not for him duh but we could now get a 20 year old who played in the Q allready and could be the 100 Point guy or atleast a guy that will make a for sure impact Why would you want to see a 100 point guy land here at a hefty price? when we will not be contending this season. It makes little to no sense because we would have to give up acouple good young prospect to get the impact 20 year old I agree with Berner that we should go with the 20's we have now..........hopefully its not as serious as first believed

I've heard everything from he is done for sure, to it wasn't anythign serious and we'll see him at training camp. With the privacy involved concerning medical issues we may be waiting a while for an answer. I think it is/was serious though and the Charland trade was to fill the hole left by losing Knox. There wasn't even a whisper of us possibly getting Charland all off season even with how much sense it might have made to do so with his brother on the team already. Then in the blink of an eye after the Knox thing, we go get him? I take that as a bad sign of the chances of seeing Knox playing for us this year.

Agree with jrsuperstar. Getting Charland suddenly does not make sense if Knox is a sure thing especially with a team flooded with right wingers. To aquire a second 20 year old on the right side can only mean Knox is likely not to appear or the Dogs are moving someone soon.

First off I Wish the kid best of luck with his health it's a sin that this has happend just before his first season in the Q ... Im with the guys who see the timing of this suspect. I think it's proably as bad as they say it is with the qiuck move all tho maybe not for his sake I hope not.

It's still tough to say this trade could also have been done for awhile they just waited until the trade period opened before finalizing the deal but I can see how there would be speculation but I'll hold out hope that he's fine and will be able to play I haven't heard anything concrete yet either way. If they get another 20 though well then obviously something is up.

I am happy to report that Jordan Knox has been cleared to play this year it took awhile to get the response because JB is in Calgary with the under 18 team. Obviously JB could not discuss any details but again he has confirmed that Jordan has been cleared to play with the Sea Dogs this season so I can only assume that he will be healthy and ready to play. ;D
Go Dogs Go!!!

It's good to hear that Knox is in good health and will be suiting up for the Dogs this season! I guess they now have their three 20's, unless Fullerton is cut at training camp.

Hopefully this dispels the thought that Charland is a replacement for Knox. The more it sets in the more I like the thought of having Frances Charland around. I think it'll be good for him to be out from under the microscope he may have been under in Victo, (like his brother), and he and his bro may elevate their level of play together here in SJ. For a 6th rounder in 2009, what a great price.
I for one was very happy dealing Labonte and Monohan for K. Charland last season, I liked what he brought. Hopefully more of the same from big brother.

If Mayer has a great camp and one or more of the kids step it up, why keep him around? I'd keep him around until atleast Christmas. Would you really want to go with two goalies with no Q experience? What if Mayer proves to be a flop (unlikely, but you never know). Atleast with Fullerton around he can kind of guide Mayer and show him what the Q is all about, and if Mayer really steps up and proves to be the number one goalie, trade Fullerton, if possible, at Christmas.
