Sauve's success or lack of it will depend a lot on how and how much JB uses him. I would have liked to see him get more ice last year, especially after it became obvious we had no hope of the playoffs. I'd love to see him make Grant-Stich and Sauve-Amyot our main 4 on D. Would mean taking some lumps for a while no doubt but should pay off in the long run.

I think Sauve got his share of icetime last season.....well maybe could have been used more on the PP but he took a regular shift and killed penalties. Sauve should break out ans show signs of really controlling the game much like the steps Grant took last season. I think JB will challenge Sauve to take his game to a new level.

Sauve is definitly a lock on the team, no doubt. I would like to see Sauve play with more of an edge, he has tons of talent and potential but he plays like a real sweethart. I don't want him to fight and get penalties every game but he has the build to lay out some big hits. I seen so many opportunities where he could have laid a nice clean hit on somebody and he let up. I want to see him, Grant and Stich, plow people in the boards who try to sneak by on the outside.

It's interesting that Switzerland is in our pool, an early test for Mayer.

It's interesting that Switzerland is in our pool, an early test for Mayer. Mayer isn't playing. He's too old. He was born in 1989, and those participating are born in 1990, or later.

Anyone know if this tourney will be televised or on the web? I know it's not like the world u-18 earlier this year.
