Ignore me  Back to topic, the Sea Dogs look like a very improved team with no direction to go but up. It makes me scared as a Foggie fan to see you guys making huge strides. I'm guessing the rivalry between our two teams will only get bigger as the year progresses and both teams start gearing up for a future run. Actually this thread's original topic was Alex Grant. Anymore thoughts on the guy? You guys have seen him play a lot more then I have but I have a pretty good idea of the guy. |

Alex Grant is a project for the Penguins as is most young defenseman with the potantial IMO to be a 2nd unit PP guy and 3 or 4 guy even strength. He's a very good skater with a great shot and can keep it low needs to work on getting that shot on net more often. Starting to play tougher now not afarid to drop the gloves and get more agressive in the corners. The 2nd half of last season he really cranked it up a notch blocking shots and keeping his game simple in his own end which kept him from being drafted in 2006. Grant as a 4th RD pick was a solid pick for the Pens I pegged him in the 3rd or 4th RD but best of all is him getting drafted by the same team that took Angelo Esposito lol.
