Cats host Val d'Or on Sunday afternoon.
The Wildcats are coming off a 3-2 shootout win in PEI on Saturday night. The Foreurs are coming off a 5-0 loss in Saint John on Saturday night.
The Val d'Or team is probably going to be a tired team, as this will be their fourth game in five nights. Cats could be a little tired too, having playing in PEI on Saturday night.
Riopel has been hot. Do you continue on with him or do you give him a break and play the rookie? I think you'll see Rio again.
6-2 Wildcats.

Was at the Dogs and Foreurs game tonight and it wasn't pretty. Even with SJ missing 7 key players, we controlled the game fairly easily up until the last 7-8 minutes. But by then it was 5-0.

No reason the Cats should be "tired" just because they played last night after having a whole week off. It would pretty easy to take the Foreurs for granted considering their schedule and the results they've gotten on the road trip so let's hope that doesn't happen. Will Domingue get the start today or do we continue with the hot hand in Riopel? Also of note this will be our only chance to see local product and 1st round draft pick Alex Noel in action. I assume he'll have plenty of support in the crowd today.

That's true.. some Cats could be tired, ie: Gormley.. he must have played 35 minutes last night. Anyways, Val d'Or will be a tired team.. hopefully the Cats don't think them lightly.

Moncton should win this game Val D'or is still missing a few players and they didn't look sharp at all last night.

I totally agree with you. I was there too and Val d'Or looked really tired last night. Therefore, I can't see them being very sharp today. Bad start for the Foreurs. Agree with most that Riopel should be in net tonight.

Webcast works, great news.
Moncton leads 3-0 after one. Famin seems like a great pick, he looks solid.

Looks like the word may have come down from the League HQ to have the game officials stop the fighting immediately. McNeil and Lane never had a chance to throw a punch after dropping the gloves the first time they tried to fight. The Linesmen were right there instantly to take them to the Penalty Box. They got into it right after they stepped on the ice at the end of their penalties though. Lots of penalties with VD getting the lion share, especially in the 3rd.

If my math is any good it looks like 8 minutes of 5 on 5 in the second and 7 minutes in the third. I don't think I have ever seen a game with that many penalties that was not full of fights.

I was at the game today, and I have to say Monahan is the biggest whiny little bitch I have seen lace them up in the CHL since Mike Ribeiro. His attitude is disgusting, and he took stupid penalty after stupid penalty, when he got frustrated. If I was the coach of that team, he'd be cut before morning.

As soon as he did that they stepped in and the linesmen was motioning to Lane about his chin strap and that he can't do that. They broke up that "fight" to protect the health of a player - I have no problems with this.

Cats 4/16 on PP, Boy did Val D'Or self destruct in 3rd.I liked what I saw from the young guys. Gormley is getting better and better in my opinion. I think Bissonnette will be a very good player in the league at 18/19, his passing is very good for his age.
Gotta love Lane, 2 fighting majors and 3 10 minute misconducts if my memory is correct.....

He may have taken a lot of undisciplined penalties, but he looks to be one of their better players. They need to improve their on-ice product fast or their coach could start feeling the heat.
