Better start this and not concern jacquesstrap again; Mooseheads coming off a 5-1 win Fri night face the 2nd overall Drumondville Voltigeurs lead by Sean Courtier and Jake Allen. I predict a 3-2 win for Drumondville; I hope I'm wrong and the boys play like last night and get a win but Drumondville is good!!!! If I was Cam I'd give Delmas another start he deserves it after last night's game he was good when he needed to be Go Moose Go!!!

I'd expect Piche to get the start in this one.

I think if the boys play to the system they may upset the Drummondville team and Jake Allen has been letting in some soft ones ...Moose 3-2

I'd expect Piche to get the start in this one. While I'd love to see Jake Allen get the start today, I agree with you that Piche will likely go with Jake having played the last two nights and Drummondville probably looking at Halifax as an easier game. I hope the boys are ready for this one and give it on every shift. Go Moose!

If Piche starts we could win by a larger score maybe another 4-2 win...

Third game in three nights for Drummondville, hopefully the Moose will take advantage early! 3-1 Mooseheads.

Halifax pulls off another big upset!
They may not have many wins, but they sure have picked up some big ones including wins vs Moncton, Sj and now Drummondville as well.
To be honest, I think you guys are a better team than B-C(following their trades of course), there doesn't seem to be too many easy games vs the Moose lately.

Probably the first game I ever recall seeing where both starting goalies had masks from a team different than their own ;D

Thoughts from today- 1) Konrad played incredible today- nice shot on his PP goal and he played very well in his own zone and showed a high panic threshold with holding onto the puck just a little longer to escape or find the open guy. 2) Delmas- played solid and made a sick save on the new generational player( see the Bathurst board ) in the 2nd- too bad he didn't get the shutout 3) Games like today show that Cam is steadily instilling a system that the kids are learning and today they played to a tee- not bad coaching from our resident primate ;D.

Just how did we get Peter Delmas from Quebec for a 6th round pick ? The steals that Russell keeps coming up with are amazing like that 17 yr old MacDonald kid ( who looks great on a line with Desjardins & Bety ) straight up for the 18 yr old Pelletier another outright hold-up.

Pretty tame game today, Hannay put a sweet open ice hit on #40 that sent him to the bench winded though. Thought moose were a bit better than DRU in the first, misfired on a few big chances. DRU cam on in the 2nd, wave after wave of attack for a period there but then we squeek out of the 2nd by adding another goal. In the third moose played better, both teams had some odd man potential chances, both goalies played well, Delmas especially was extremely sharp tonight. Coutourier is big and lanky and has all the tools, not the fastest guy or most intense guy... reminded me a ton of Joe Thornton, very calm with the puck, nice passer, heavy shot. He had a nice swoop through the crease early but missed. Not a "once in a generation" type player as some say 2 wins now, 3 home games left in this stretch... good to see them playing well again.
