Regardless of what hfxfan09 said, Saint John lost to Cape Breton on Sunday, so the Sea Dogs should be hungry, if they get in with the snow. Gelinas and Bernard are out a week or so. Delmas, Clarke and Amyot are day to day. The Moose will be in tough.

Lots of snow falling around here right now in Moncton ... and NS is supposed to get more than us in SE NB ... and it is supposed to snow all day. Unless SJ took a proactive approach and headed down yesterday ... I would not be shocked if this game is postponed.

Snow's all done here in Halifax at around 11:00, streets are good but I don't know what the highways are like.

Never received any snow at all in SJ. Not sure if this had any affect on travels. We were scheduled to get about 15cm but not a flake in sight.

John Moore's twitter feed says Sea Dogs are en route, and looks like game is a go.

Tonight's official did a horrendous job but Moose fall 6-2 in a spirited game; Moose sucker punched left right and center, Saint John may be number one but their dirty. Halifax did their fair share but don't even get me started on tonight's official; he should not be allowed officiating in this league, but I guess all team have to take it and their fair share of poor officiating, just saying tonight was bad!!

But at least Clarke steamrolled a couple sea puppies , Beaulieau in the 2nd and Macaulay in the 3rd. Thomas didn't have enough of a set to fight Hannay, Hannay should have turned around as Thomas only goes after guys when their back is turned. Guess we finally found a ref (Murphy) who is even worse than Thomander is. **Mod edit**

I guess the Moose are all angels right? At least Clarke's hits were clean and not from behind...... and, oh yeah, during the play.

Great effort by the Moose. We have lost so many games int the third period this year and I think it is because we have to work so hard to stay with more skilled teams, and they did tonight again, that the tank is running low in the third.
Saint John showed their firepower in the third but for the first two periods you would never know it was first vers worst.
I do tend to be critical of the reffs, maybe because I hate the senement that John Cougar expresses in one of his songs........Authority always wins....Authority should only win when it is right.
It was extremely lucky that no one was seriously injured in this game and if it had of haapened Ryan Murphy would have been 100% at fault. The kids had no idea what a penalty was out there because that asshole had no idea himself. Sure Clarke is probably on the watch list but he gets called for a buyllshit penalty then Murphy decides that if Clarke throws a good clean hit then Saint John can trip him , highstick him, sucker him after the play is dead and it is all right.
I have never been more frustrated with the officiating then tonight. There was 36 minutes called in minors tonight.,penalty every 3 minutes, There was virtually no 5 on 5 hockey tonight. 18 minors,,, I am still vibrating and I am not alone.
Bottom line he lost control of the game totally and someone could have been hurt, I am glad his incompetence did not lead to a serius injury.
No question the better team won tonight, Saint John woke up big time in the third and showed a little bit of why they are #1. But unfortunately the ref not the teams was the story tonight and that is not how it should be.
