According to Rinkrant Clarkie could be suspended for Suns game? Was it that bad? No, it wasn't- Lagace wasn't hurt, it was a hit that he tried, rightly, to avoid and Clarke hit with his knee as a result- like Ovechkin last year on Gonchar. However, because it is Clarke I imagine it will be a suspension of a game or two which is total bullshit but whatever.

Probably a charging, at worst, however it's Clarke so he'll end up with 1 game. It was a BS call. He was taking the man and his man turned last second and it ended up being knee on knee. Lagace never missed a shift. While Clarke didn't have as good of a game as he did in the previous 2, he hasn't been undisciplined. An unlucky call on him and it ended up hurting the team with him missing the remainder of the game. If he continues to play like he did in the previous 2 games he'll be much more effective for us.

Look I am sure the Moose will look into this matter very quickly as they are short bodies and if leafue is going to try and suspend Clarke I don't think it will happen before Monday at earliest.... But please remember that it would not be right to try and change Clarke's complete game maybe the times to hit people...

It wasn't that bad but Clarke's a marked man and once you get that tag it's hard to shake.

It wasn't that bad but Clarke's a marked man and once you get that tag it's hard to shake. If you changed out "Clarke" for "Thomas," the sentence is equally true. People point at both their PIM totals and call them dirty, without realizing the PIMs are sometimes as much a result of the reputation, as they are the cause. Odd coincidence, Lagace embellished a call here in SJ last weekend too. He jumped into the boards when there was incidental contact with Thomas. The ref called boarding, although there was clearly no attempt to hit Lagace. The good news for SJ was, someone must have pointed it out to the refs, because it was open season on Lagace after that. Pretty sure Sauve got away with an elbow less than 3 feet from the ref. Lagace complained, and the ref just skated away. Clarke can be a game-changer, greasy or not. The only reason I hate him is because he doesn't play for my team.

But playing Cape Breton you have to be careful. They are can go beyond just using skill to win and use theatrics or even rules to mess win. Part of me hates it but part of me thinks it quite slick. Lagace embellishing is a minor one comapared to. Such as getting Kents stick meassured in the play-offs to fugure out it was illegal, and just to have Pascal Morency on their roster was a good move. What shows he would put on.

You're right defresh, how dare they blow the horn after goals against a shitty like Halifax. Also, the players should should not get excited about a 3-0 comeback because they are suppose to win that game anyways. I hope you guys are better next year cause right now there is not much of a rivalry (14-1 in last 15).

Now your going way back to cry about that stick measurement. By the way, how did that call work out for you guys? Good thing Halifax only allows classy players on their roster...like Clarke.

Yeah we definately are not much of a rivarly for Cape Breton lately. They have been a way better team the last couple years. In our defense guess you needed rebuiling years when you are trying to win the presidents cup or Memorial cup. Got to be in it to win it.

If u don't think Clarke through his knee out there with intent , then you need to see a Good Opthamologist and head directly to the DMV and surrender your Drivers License . The Kid is a real snake and 7 or 8 Moose Fans expressed that at the Game last night .

Enjoy watching your team be eliminated in the first round once again, lol. We suck everybody knows that, we aren't making the playoffs, everybody knows that, but I am going to love watching you poor CB fans cry and sook over being eliminated. You guys might have a great record against us over the last year or so, but where has that gotten you. I wouldn't brag too much about coming back from a 3-0 deficit against us. You guys have struggled against us lately and with bonehead behind your bench good luck against Flynn and Moncton. Have fun having no 1st rounder for the next few years, for a player that will do shit all against Moncton. Believe me when I say, we here in Halifax know how that feels. As far as your record against us, lets talk about that when we are not rebuilding. I think I recall a few years ago us sweeping you guys right out of the playoffs and all the CB fans saying how we should have because you guys were lucky to be there blah, blah.
And if Clarke played for you guys, you would love him. These are the same fans that loved Morency all those years, surely one of the classiest and cleanest players in the league at the time. lol, what a joke.

Hal I would agree. I think he did intend it. But most players or people do crazy things and truly are not ready for the outcome. Kinda like when you are working on something like a car etc. And you get so frustrated you throw a tool. Theres been times people have thrown objects through a window....or even hit someone. Was it a stupid move yes.....was it uncalled for yes. Is the person evil or a "SNAKE" Noooooooo. To say intent is such a judgement call. And i doubt 7 moosehead fans called him a Snake last night in Cape Breton.
