Wonder what kind of crowds you`d get... you figure there would be a pretty strong amount of local hockey/moose/Q fans that would go... plus what, 50% of the average moncton crowd maybe? The thought of the metro centre erupting in cheers on a wildcat goal makes me a bit nautious though lol I would bet most of them would be cheering for CB ... lots of Cape Bretoners in Halifax ... plus the NS connection. Yeah I wasn`t really thinking about WHO they would be playing... yeah it would be an interesting mix in the crowd for sure, big eagle fans, moncton fans, and neutral fans. CB would definately be well represented, wouldnt feel like a moncton home game thats for sure.

Four goals in his last two games ... missed 16 games due to injury ... 20 goals in 43 games ... which equates to 31.6 on 68 games. Plus ... he was selected as the Male Athlete of the Year for 2009 for the Yukon ...

When I was a kid I remember going to an AHL playoff game between Moncton and St.John's at the Metro Centre. I think this was in 1993 and there was a strike of some sorts in St.John's. My memory is kind of vague on everything but from what I remember it was a pretty good crowd and very pro-St.John's. I seem to recall the place going nuts when the Leafs won in OT. I could be wrong though as I was only about 6 years old at the time.

Fredericton were practically the home team in games in Halifax too

Chances are I'll be there myself. In order to get a table, be there by 1PM. No joke.

It has a liquor store and a good sized eatery plus a few other spots that come in handy when your hotel room is right above it. And a Tim Hortons ... booze, food and coffee ... that officially makes it a mall ... jeez some people need a life. ;D
