Richard Greer's ineffectiveness in the Q was more of a personal issue rather than lack of hockey ability.

Than I guess he is all set and will continue his dream!!! The point is this ended up being a train wreck because of over the top parents and absurd decisions. He changed teams and schools like some people do a pair of sneakers all to show everyone they were wrong. If he had just relaxed and stayed at Exeter, he might have been able to play at a D 1 school and if not, gone to an Ivy league or D 3 school. His next 4 years coulod be starting now, where all the fun for American kids starts. But becausae of his parents and their insane moves, it has hit the wall. Cut at 20 and going to a Canadian school vs a US one. Good luck getting hired in Massachusetts with that degree. it aint happening. He and Richard Greer are the poster boys for what not to do. They're might be some valid points in there, even if some contradict what you've already said, and not including the swipe at Canadian Universities. And they still don't have anything to do with your first statement: "It is time for Dimitruk to give up the ghost and move on." No swipe at Canadian schools. Very good, some of the best in the world. Point is all things being equal you would want an Amrican degree when applying down in the US. I made my point and I agree with yours.

Do you even know one of these guys? You make this out as some sort of "death sentence". He made decisions and apparently is moving on with his life. People make life decisions everyday and yet critics, such as you, feel it necessary to slam them for reasons unknown by most. Why? Give it up. You've slammed him, his parents, Greer, the Canadian University system. Get a life. How this even became a "Slam Dimitruk" post is absolutely B@#$S%^&. By the way, and it appears you have ZERO KNOWLEDGE" regarding this, Canadian University degrees are widely accepted in the U.S, including Massachusetts. I speak from first hand knowledge. Worked for a fortune 25 firm and know for a fact they wouldnt even consider hiring you with it. They are good degrees but will not help you in US.

Very similar to the other player, he left to "show everyone how wrong they were" The week before he left he called BU and told them they had 1 week to decide how much interest they had in"Ritchie ". That if a deal was not put forward they were going to the Q. They said, "who is this again"?

I guess I'll have to get in touch with some guys who I graduated with from a Canadian university and who are working in the US so I can tell them they should quit and come home coz their degrees won't help them.

He does what he wants....let it go.

Excuse me but aren't we like... not supposed to talk about players personal life? I mean, this is seeming like just one person ripping on Paul Dimitruk as a person and the hockey side of things is being kinda overlooked.
Dimitruk had one season here, I personally thank him for the time he spent with the Mooseheads, if nothing else he was an entertaining player to watch on a last place team. Every time you hear a stick beaver-tailing against the ice you knew he was on.
But yea, lets leave it at that.
