Kyle Farrell will be dressing for tonight's game against the Rempart. Maybe he can spark some offence for the Eagles. Going to be an interesting night at the Nest.

2 Goals on 2 shots from Vern, talkin lessons from Roy last year, considering almost every first shot went in on him...... I see he was a good mentor

Ouch, sounds like special teams were the difference tonight, but hey, Mr. Friday Night, Audy-Marcheessault was only held to 2 points.

Ouch, sounds like special teams were the difference tonight, but hey, Mr. Friday Night, Audy-Marcheessault was only held to 2 points. Not really, Quebec scored 3 of their 4 PP goals in the last 3 minutes of the game when it was pretty much over for the Eagles. It wasn't 12 goals but I guess 8 is still ok. Mr Friday is the first star of the month and the first star of the game. Not that bad.

The biggest difference I saw tonight was the skill level and composure of the Ramparts. The Eagles were guilty of far too many turnovers, many caused by a blatant inability to take or receive a pass. 90% of those missed passes become a turnover or negate an offensive play or breakout. Also some players stopped being as effective possibly from overuse after the halfway mark.
Also after getting burned by Rimouski with 4 pp goals in 5 chances you would hope to see the team stay out of the penalty box. But Quebec was 4 for 7 tonight on the power play. I know, I know the refereeing was inconsistent but when isn't it.
I would have had a hard time awarding a star to an Eagles player tonight, I'm afraid. I would really like to see the Eagles start winning a lot more of the battles along the boards and in the corners. That doesn't take great skill but rather hard work and determination.

Why oh why was Veronneau left in for all 8 goals? Poor guy...thought we were trying to develop him, not start him against the top scoring team in the league then let him rot for the entire game, taking another hit to his confidence....
