2 minor things...
They can't trade Herzog as he is a first year euro.
They can keep the three euros with the team, they just can't play all three in the same game.

Good catch re: Herzog (article has been edited). There is a deadline for them to release one too, is there not?
Herzog would be the "weakest" of the three as well so interesting to see what they do now.

Sorensen is a Dane not a Swede.

Sorensen is a Dane not a Swede. Danish father, Swedish mother. He was born in Danemark but now lives in Sweden. He plays for the Swedish junior team.

They send him back to the Q in the next few days.. Quebec rotates Euros until Sorensen gets hurt.. then Grigorenko gets fulltime.. world juniors in a few weeks .... doubt anything happens tradewise right away
Who has an open Euro spot right now?
could be a valuable addition to a team looking to contend.. and won't get full market value return that's for sure

SeaDogs have an open Euro spot. The entire Maritimes division minus Halifax has open Euro spots. Gonna be quite interesting. I believe, and I may be mistaken, that R-N has an open Euro spot too... in fact the Q has a LOT of open euro spots this year... and who are BLB's euros?

We don't yet.. tho if we could land a Grigorenko cheaply i'm sure Sedlar would be sent packing as he's a regular healthy scratch-4th liner anyhow
Armada Euros are Aronsson and Jevpalovs
Rouyn have Fuchs and Baldaev

Lets answer my own Question
Acadie-Bathurst : 0/2 Baie-Commeau : Valentin Zykov, Dennis Gorbunov 2/2 Blainville-Broisbiand : Nikita Jevpalovs, Emil Aronsson 2/2 Cape Breton : Maxim Lazarev 1/2 Charlettown : Metaj Beran, Marco Sedlar 2/2 Chicoutimi : Janne Puhakka, Nikita Liamkin 2/2 Drummondville : Georgs Golovkovs, Sergei Boikov 2/2 Gatineau : Martin Reway, Vaclav Karabacek 2/2 Halifax : Nikoaj Ehlers, Timo Meier 2/2 Moncton : Ivan Barbashev 1/2 Quebec : Nick Sorensen, Fabrice Herzog 2/2 Rimouski : Jan Kostalek, Patrick Zdrahal 2/2 Rouyn-Noranda : Jason Fuchs, Victor Baldaev 2/2 Saint John : Jurij Repe 1/2 Shawinigan : Marvin Cupper, Ilya Zinoviev 2/2 Sherebrooke : Vladislav Lysenko, Tim Wieser 2/2 Val'Dor : Timotej Sille, Lukas Sladkovsky 2/2 Victoriaville : Jan Mandat, Petr Sidlik 2/2
So, in short, Bathurst can take on 2, CB 1, Moncton 1, Saint John 1, and Charlettown is not exactly in love with Sedlar.

Moncton has an open slot but I can't see them trading for a 19 year old Euro unless he was REALLY cheap.

Do not know what sense it would be for the Screaming Eagles to make a bid for him at this point. The price would probably be too high for this team to take as a three month rental considering where we are now.Makes more sense to me to look for help on the backend, if we intend to improve or contend over this year and next year that is where we need help. Our only Eurpoean, Lasarev just started playing and looks really good and we have another forward waiting in the wings for next year from this years draft.I yhink it would be fool hardy to expend a high draft pick on Grigerenko at this point. He would probbly be better suited for a team that is going to make a serious run this year, I do not see us being in that position this year.

Bathurst has one: theqmjhl.ca/roster/show/id/14949 and Saint John still has Siska who they drafted 9th overall this year and may come back over Christmas if his injury heals well enough and even not they may want to wait to see if he can play next year.
