]Groleau <<< Jacques. Jacques has been poor all year. He's an adventure every time he's on the ice. Nearly every d-breakdown in this series, certainly Game 1, was a result of him. Seeing as Jacques didn't play in games 2 or 3, it's kinda hard to blame him for any defensive breakdowns in those games. And apparently I did... From now on I'll put all necessary and unnecessary info in parenthesis so not to confuse you and howitzer. There weren't too many breakdowns in any game this series for the Mooseheads. When there were, Jacques was more often than not the culprit.

How many games did he get in this year? I think u are embellishing Jacques being the "culprit" on the Islanders goals.

I said that he made up the bulk of the Mooseheads d-zone breakdowns (when he played, MikeC and howitzer). I don't mean to "pick on him". I hope he improves. I just don't see the potential that others apparently see. I, like, Ahern would have passed on him in the draft. He's played almost 50 games in a Mooseheads sweater going back to pre-season and he's yet to impress me. Like I said, I hope he improves.

You were born in 89 according to your bio. I'm not quite sure how you remember Groleau. I was in middle school. I certainly didn't have the hockey expertise that an adult would have but my memory deserves a little more credit than that. Case in point: The aforemention Biron never played for the Mooseheads. According to Gordie Sutherland, he was on his way to Halifax from Shawinigan but it never panned out. Mathieu Benoit was another failed trade. Perhaps I was a hockey-savant as a child. I'm well aware Biron didn't play for the Mooseheads. Groleau didn't play anymore either. Thyat was the joke. Biron was with the New York Islanders, not Shawinigan. If you were 10/11 and in middle school, then you must be some sort of super genius.

I misread Andrews' injury. I was thinking Hardie was a longer term thing.

Hoping we play Quebec next round. I want payback on that chump Erne. I thought you already did get payback ... Ciampini stuck a stick in his ear ... Ryan shot the puck at his head ... Weegar jumped him. What if your team actually thinks they got payback already ?

highlights: Not shown is Meier's epic miss of an absolute open net in the 2nd period.

Nice goals in there... but a lot of standing around leaving guys open by PEI. You can tell they had nothing left after the first period goals. And you guys are too hard on Ciampini , his breakaway wasn`t that slow. It was a nice read by him.

Ya I was expecting worse from the Ciampini breakaway too. Wasn't pretty but wasn't THAT slow.
What was Laliberte doing on Drouin's 2nd goal lol? Literally just stands there and gives him half a stick check as Drouin flys off the wing.

Hoping we play Quebec next round. I want payback on that chump Erne. Weird.......I thought you would be concentrating on winning the series. If Quebec gets Erne and Duclair back like it seems they might, it would be a good series.....would suck if Halifax were still missing their injured guys though.

LOL....I don't think it was really that slow either, he just knew he had tons of time so once in the zone slowed down, but a nice read and nice goal. 7 points in 4 games...time for people to leave him alone, until he disappears again. Same points as Gadoury right now, and nobody is crapping on him. Charlottetown gave up before the game started.

I'm guilty of exaggeration in this case. I've spent a lot of time on here defending Ciampini. He isn't nearly as bad as people make him out to be. But he's the butt of a lot of jokes, and sometimes it's hard to help it. I remember he was supposed to work on his skating when he was at the Habs development camp, but he still skates like a baby deer (moose?).

Andrews and Hardie should be good to go for rd 2, leaving Ashley as the only injury. He's a big loss, but we should be able to cover it up for 2-3 weeks, if needed. So according to the poster yesterday, Ashley's apparently gone to Ottawa too see a specialist. Isn't there a doctor in Ottawa who performs procedures that have been found to speed up the recovery process? Hopefully it's the same doc and it works, and we get him back sooner then later. Damn concussions can drag.
