Every team that can't win a championship in a given season can't sell off every asset they have.... there is only one team that wins and realistically 4-5 that may feel they have a shot Yeah, but you need a plan, the Cats have been spinning their wheels since the 2010 championship. This year is their best team since 09-10, but they don't have many assets to trade and their a lot of their best players will be gone next year...so this is a key year. If you don't move 2 or more of Dubeau Barbashev Tkachev Lalonde, then you basically lose your 4 best players for nothing. Sweeney could also end up pro if he has a good enough year at 19.3 of those players account for 23 of 60 goals and Dubeau is as good as anybody in nets. Contending this year would be like going for it 2 years ago...we all know how that one turned out.
