Sounded like John Moore was calling Reway, Ribeye lol. I know it is pronounced different than it looks. Anyways, if u do look at the Vuic fight you see Vuic standing there and Sheppard pushing him to start the fight, so I don't think Vuic was sent out there to "get" anyone. I do think Ciampini is playing with a little edge. He has been giving the little shots and slashes after the whistle. Maybe he did mean to attack Erne on purpose. lol. I don't think Ciampini should be on the first line. Meier excites me, I think he will be a force soon enough. He is turning into what I would like C. Moynihan to turn into. John pronounces it reeve-eye - not sure if that's how it's really pronounced or not.

Almost passed out after reading that. It was an idiotic call by the on ice officials... glad someone was able to see this.

Wow - a reasonable decision from the Q. We've officially entered the twilight zone.
Although the real damage has already been done - having to kill off a 5 minute major 90 seconds into game four.

According to them, Reway says it is pronounced "Ree-vie". That seems even weirder to me, but it is the kids own name. John Moore actual has it pretty close

This is the hit on Ehlers by Beauregard:

He definately hit him in the head with his glove, but I think it was mostly a punch/whack to the ear. Should have been a roughing penalty for sure but not suspension stuff. Ehlers was selling it though. It`s possible the stick end caught him pretty hard though, hard to say for sure. He looked like his head was ringing a bit on the bench.

Yeah, I don't think a suspension is necessary for that Beauregarde hit.

Yeah, I don't think a suspension is necessary for that Beauregarde hit. You have to put the hit in context with all of the other cheap suspension calls the league has made against the Mooseheads. In that context, it should be a suspension. Anybody see or hear what the Lovell hit was?

With the inconsistency in officiating, this is just one more example of a non-call. The referee is on the opposite side of the ice and his field of vision is obstructed. The linesman was right there and would have seen the hit. If indeed it was a hit to the head, I would like to have think the linesman would have made the call; he didn't. As a freeze frame shows at second 57, The Gatineau player clearly has two hands on the stick and Ehler is on the way down. From this angle and Ehler's reaction, it would appear to have been a two-handed cross check to the head. However, did Ehler try to duck under the check and place himself in a vulnerable position. If I were the referee I would not (edit) be able to call it based entirely on the restricted viewpoint. Attachments:
