So did we really trade Tkachev, a world junior player, to Quebec for Burke and a 7th and 8th pick straightup? No Brassard, no futures? Be careful you don't voice a non puckbunny opinion...Steve UL will call you out for being negative...

I said .... he reminded me of a young Jerome Samson. When he did certain things ... he made me think of Jerome Samson ... and mostly when he was working along the boards. I didn't say I expected him to turn out that way ... didn't mention anything about Olivier's offense. You don't get to decide who Olivier reminds me of ... it isn't even something you can argue ... it happened ... its a fact ... shut your cake hole. Your last post says "Samson didn't really show much offense either until 18" Why bring it up if you didn't expect him to develop into a more offensive player. Do you think you can change something that has already happened ?

Donaghey is done for the season afterall. He'll need surgery. They expect him to come back for the playoffs.

Do you think you can change something that has already happened ? Why don't you answer the question? You have the answer if you'd think. I said a young Samson ... so I'm comparing what I see from the young Olivier at 17 to some of the things I saw from the young Samson ... at 17. All I said was he did things that reminded me of Samson ... never said anything about Olivier's offense. You brought up offense ... not me. I didn't say he scored goals like Samson ... I actually mentioned his work along the boards that reminded me of Samson. Clear ? Do you think you can still change the past by arguing ?

Donaghey is done for the season afterall. He'll need surgery. They expect him to come back for the playoffs. Which is why the deal was scuttled. Quebec could not deliver Donaghey this year. Moncton isn't having a wholesale sell off ... we are selling key pieces but expect key pieces in return to continue on with this season ... and the future.

So I guess Shannon was correct when he mentioned that on the podcast Wednesday. Don't blame him at all for backing out of the deal in that case. The Cats season could have been over by the time he got back this year.

With Sweeney ... you get a 1st pair guy. I think Fucale was always part of your plan ... didn't hinge on the Sweeney deal falling apart.
