I think they would have given him a week off if we weren't in such a tough stretch of the schedule. He may not have been given a full week(7 days) but he's still been given some time off to heat up before the playoffs. Any allegation otherwise is simply false. Anyways, when you get dominated all weekend, it's never just about 1,2 or even 3 players. It's a team thing. Why don't you just say what you mean instead of speaking in riddles ... referring to your first sentence. I don't think our 3rd and 4th lines got dominated as much as our top 2 lines. Versus Rimouski ... they got a lot of icetime and played very well. The Murphy/Bower/Jacob line was very good and were working hard ... Beaton line also. But we aren't going to beat top teams without our top line being dominant. Until they find a 3rd for the Barbashev-Garland line, I'd go back to Leger. He worked well with them prior to Barbashev's departure. He became useless for awhile when they took him off that line. With Barbashev ... I think it is more emotional than fatigue.

I think it's just more of an emotional thing as well.
You go from playing in front of 19,000 fans in the gold medal game of the World Juniors to playing Q regular season games. I'm not making excuses for him, but I can see how that we tough to come down from. That said, it wasn't like he was coming back and playing a bunch of games against Bathurst. They were all fairly marquee games.
Overall I'm not too worried about him. This isn't Tkachev we're talking about...Barbashev will get it going again. I'm confident of that.

Ha this is quite good because it is a riddle and the key in the riddle is "heating up before the playoffs" It is obvious to the Riddler that he knows about the heat, and obvious that Capt Obvious does not.

Still think it's a big mistake to not give him a week off, makes for a long long season from August to April-May, longer than NHL.

I think most of them come with a program called Narrator. It will read what is on your screen for you. Click on your start menu and there should be a search bar, just type in Narrator and open it up. I'm still baffled that they didn't give him a week off. Don't be so sure about that.
