Jurusik looks very interesting ... great numbers ... but they depend on the quality/strength of the team he plated on.
I suppose it is a fairly easy sell right now to get goaltenders to come here ...
Roger Shannon: Did you watch the Stanley Cup final ? Goaltending Prospect: Yes ... enjoyed it. RS: What did you think of that winning goaltender ? GP: Corey Crawford ... I think he is great. I strive to be as good as he is. RS: He played here for 4 seasons ... that is his 2nd Stanley Cup. GP: Where do I sign ?

I like the invites, costs nothing, so no risk. In terms of the Klima's, the numbers in the NAHL were not very good so I wouldn't count on them being top 6 guys in the Q. Maybe they are energy guys, seem to have a lot of pims. For comparison sake, I saw Cortese's numbers after he left PEI for that league... www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=128928Jurusik and Washer look very interesting based on their stats and size.

So two players who made very little impact in the OHL or NAHL are going to be top two line guys here next season? I feel like there may be some slight exaggerations there, but we'll see how they look at camp. Jurusik and Washer look to be VERY interesting. Just based on numbers you'd have to think that Jurusik will have a very good chance to make the team.

Do they go with an OA and 18 year old...or get one of the young guys(if one of the US kids show) and go 16 and 18...which is a bit risky. My guess is they are looking at the first scenario and not the 2nd. Fortin sticks unless he shits the bed.

I agree that they would likely go with Fortin and Jurusik than Jurusik and Grant/Waite/Petruzzelli (if he were to report). The question is whether Fortin and Jurusik would be willing to share a net and likely share starts. Fortin doesn't seem like he would want to come back and share while Jurusik would have to give up his college eligibility and so maybe they would have to commit to one or the other getting a majority of the starts which would leave them with having to take another goalie. Obviously this is dependent on how they perform in camp but it is interesting to consider nonetheless.

Petre Klima's kids....I like it. Some good genetics there. Of course they could be busts but why not have a look? under average size and stats so far in their young career but it's just numbers. To see in August. Bottom line, based on size and numbers(NAHL and OHL), the last thing I would EXPECT is for them to play in my top 6 in the QMJHL...that's the crazy part. If they show up and knock your sox off, then great...

I'm not even sure that there is a spot for them on the 4th line. Add two Euros ... and promote from within ... and you already have a full roster. Guys like Leger and Askew will be wasted in any role but top 6.

I get they are trying to generate hype and sell tickets, but nothing in their 2014/15 performance suggests the Klima twins should be pencilled in for top 6 jobs in the Q ...

The Q site now has 48 players on the Cats roster, I assume this would be their protected players...some will need to be shed to draft 13-14 guys tomorrow. lhjmq.qc.ca/teams/3Doucet Mann Kelly Poirier Pugsley A.Johnson Zerter Curtis would be prime candidates to be dropped The free agents and draft picks are now in the WC roster Mann Curtis and Poirier are still there. Maybe they got dropped but not yet removed. Doucet is gone Zerter is gone A.Johnson is gone Pugsley is gone Kelly is gone Still showing 52 guys on top of the 8 FA's and Barbashev(Euro 20 list)
