I remember posting last year at this time that the Cape Breton and PEI posters thought they were the teams to beat in our division. And that I was surprised that the Wildcats weren't getting more respect. Now that we're in a new year it appears Cape Breton, PEI and Saint John now feel they are the teams to beat in the division this year. Given the admittedly risky drafts, the free agent additions and the new European players I'm thinking this team is going to be interesting to watch. Where does everyone place us in the division this year?? (make your own assumptions on whether the risky drafts will show up). I'm thinking (admittedly a little aggressive)that we will be 2nd in the division with just a little success on the drafts. Both teams did a rebuild in 13-14 and started last year with pretty young teams. Next year those guys are entering their prime. Sprong Chlapik and co will be 18, Cape Breton most of their top guys will be 19-20 except for Dubois.

Charlottetown have more holes and Saint John are probably primed for the year after.
Cape Breton should be the team to beat but it's tough one until you see who shows up for Moncton.
Not much between SJ and Cha IMO but Cha need to go for it this year and have a lot of work to do to get a bona fide contender.

Last year, he multiplied his production by more than 2 so, at that rate, I expect him to get around 275 pts this year.

It is obvious what is happening here ... chsb has moved to Moncton and hacked Arnold Slick's account !

Shannon is having his camp this week, hopefully the turnout of wildcat prospects is as good as it has been in previous years. Hopefully they are able to make an impression on some of the NCAA kids.

It'll be interesting to see which Americans are at VREDS camp. I can confirm that Matthew Waite and the Klima twins are there. I was speaking with Roger Shannon and he said a full camp roster should be available today. Haven't seen one posted yet.

I think the Americans have their select 16s this week so Petruzzelli is likely not there, not sure if Destefani was invited to that camp or not

On the topic of the USA Selects camp, Liam Murphy was at the Select 17 camp last weekend. 3 goals and an assist in 5 games.

Seems like almost all the picks are there except for Dawe, Petruzzelli and Destefani. Also a little surprising that Askew, Murphy, Malatesta, Jacob, both euros and a few other regulars are there. Alsfeld is also there which is surprising considering he isn't on the training camp list for the wildcats. Seems like a few of the teams they have are a bit more stacked than the others (Team Canada has Askew, Malatesta, Corson and Crossman).
