Dupre and talbot-Tassi both plays in the same league collegial AAA. It's the same level as junior A and junior AAA. It's a really strong level! But I think Dupre or Talbot-Tassi can't be the starting goalie next year.. They will need a #1. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought Junior AAA or Junior A in Quebec was bad, like no where near any of the Junior A leagues Ontario-West. The caliber is not as strong as the Maritimes and the CJHL. BCHL is the strongest and CJHL is pretty strong also, both send a lot of guys to NCAA.

The entity now known as the CJHL is the governing body for all sanctioned Jr.A leagues in Canada... much like the CHL is in major junior. AJHL is also quite strong.

I wonder if they'll let Corson play another year MAAA or Jr.A. Last year he didn't look anything close to being ready and he lost most of the year with a shoulder injury.

He is looking more and more like a blown pick with every passing day ... they went off the board to get him, if he is still not ready for the league at 17, you have to question his future impact. To be fair, he did lose a year of development due to his shoulder injury, but still ... it was a risky pick to begin with - best case was that he would be ready for a 3rd or 4th line role at 17 ... now it is looking less and less likely that the best case materializes ...

I think if he was anything close to ready, he would have played more than two games while he spent the entire second half with the team, don't you think? At this point, it appears he is going to have to take a big step forward over the summer to be able to handle a spot as a regular 4th liner next year ... Do you consider that to be a good outcome for a 2nd round pick in his 17 year old season? He may recover - but right now, I think it is safe to say he is considerably behind where a 2nd round Q pick from the 2014 draft should be.

I thought that was why the AAA team cut him, because he wouldn't be able to play for a majority of the season

I'm not labeling him a bust, I'm saying he needs to play another year MAAA. Even if it was only 9 games, he had 1 goal and 4 points in MAAA, pretty unimpressive numbers for a small, offensive player.
