Didnt say they were good. Were mediocre and both sodes had some bad calls and bad missed calls. I am not saying you cant talk about it. Part of the public forum is discussion and defending opinion. When someone comes on some day and says the visiting team was robbed for once I will let you debate them. Until then the home team is about 1000 to 0 in terms of being screwed by mediocre Q officials. Do you not see the point? You will "let" me debate them? Lol. Thanks but I don't need your permission oh great one. I understand the whole home town bias but I don't find our board is any worse than others. I'm not naive to blame a loss entirely on refs but I have no problem when someone points out a missed or bad call. It's great that you are fine with it you can continue to stick your head in the sand or up your ass when calls are missed for all I care. Get off your fucking pedestal and stop telling people what they can and can't talk about. Yes...as in I would have let someone else fight the battle vs the whiners but nobody was interested in the battle as using internet logic majority rules so 3 people whining about missed calls trumps the 1 person wondering why no mention of the missed calls the other way. Sounds like some of you went to a hockey game and missed most of it yet you say my head is in the sand. You and your buddy the truth still dont want to talk about the captain taking dumb penalties and awful turnovers or shitty goaltending yet I am the one on a pedestal. Makes perfect sense.

An incidentally, I never said prodigy ..... HOWEVER, I CAN SEE "HE HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BE A GREAT GOALTENDER". Sure if we ignore things like history, stats, and how he has played. They are are having the potential to be great if we took a poll of relatives and ignored reality.

Arsenault has never officiated a good game at C200. He is a crappy ref, not consistent, the players never know what to expect, other then a crappy game. Name 2 refs who have officiated good games. Is shitty officiating why they played such as undisciplined game on Friday?

Is shitty officiating why they played such as undisciplined game on Friday? Well officiated games are a rarity in this league. So teams should expect at the start of these playoff games they may have to be more careful to see which way the wind will blow that game because if you have to fight from behind in playoffs it really difficult. Some refs in the playoffs let more go and thats fine until they do an aboutface because they start losing control. The coaches need to know this. Prepare guys for it. And yes some refs are just substandard - overlook or miss calls they shouldn't, perhaps see what they want and then get arrogant about the players/fans pointing out their errors. Which is even worse, but no reason after 68 regular season games every Q coach would not already know all this.

You and your buddy the truth still dont want to talk about the captain taking dumb penalties and awful turnovers or shitty goaltending yet I am the one on a pedestal. Makes perfect sense. At no point did I blame the refs for the loss. I said Fucale outplayed Sullivan but besides mishandling the puck I thought Sullivan played a good game. I said the 20yo didn't do enough. Anderson was invisible in game 5. Svechnikov and Bishop had some turnovers but I think they were trying too hard to make up for their line mates. Bishop scored the lone goal, led the team in shots and dangerous shots and was 50% in the face offs.He took 1 penalty for "slashing" Fucale (which I'm sure was the right call?). But sure blame the loss on Bishop and shitty goaltending? I would blame the loss on a tired group playing an excellent team. I wouldn't even say they we're undisciplined since half the calls should have been no calls. But apparently I'm blind and only you Jack can analyze a game.

Part of the issue is.......................that nobody really knows what's a penalty any more ! There is a very fine line between ...a clean check and a roughing minor .

You say hahahahaha when people say Sullivan is not getting the start as if he is a prodigy. You deserved the criticism. Not sure what you are talking about? It is really not a big deal but check his post history. The other day someone figured that Belanger would get the start and his only response was "hahahahahahaha" Perhaps he knew that Sullivan had the start but either way that is ridiculous. The constant Sullivan is great opinion is tolerable but the haha's were just too much and jack called him out on it. It is clear that he is a relative , friend or neighbour of Miguel Sullivan.

Every time he had the puck in game 5 behind the net he had a Quebec rusher coming from each side. They knew he was not good at playing the puck and they took advantage. Second goal was his fault. Game winner at that. Belanger is a better goaltender. Although as most of us agree neither are #1's in this league.

Nothing against Sullivan, he has come a long way since the first half of the year, but Belanger is the number 1 although since game 2 neither has stepped up to claim it. Curious to see if Dumont goes back to Belanger Monday

Seems like a waste of time to go on a thread and say that. No need to wonder how one gets to 17,000 posts. Not over until it is over, two games on the road against a strong team will be tough but some hard work, good bounces and solid goaltending by Belanger and we have a chance.
