Garland takes 3 times the abuse and I have never seen him lie on the ice after. Let's stick to facts. That's a gross exaggeration at best, an outright lie at worst. No I don't think it is ... but I guess it would be hard to say for certain for anybody that doesn't watch all of the games for both teams. I can say that Garland takes a lot of abuse every night from every team he plays against. Thats just the nature of the beast when you lead the league in scoring. To say that one gets abused more than the other is a tough call for anybody to prove. I've only seen Garland lie on the ice once where the trainer had to come out ... but he gets drilled from behind far more often than anybody I have seen in the Q this year (not counting all the high sticks to the face and hooks and holds that go uncalled ... or the roughing after the whistle on him) ... but I see him more than anyone else so take that into account. He is very resilient ... takes a lot of abuse but gets right back up ... doesn't want to let the other team think they got him.

Ok dirtbag might've been too much how about Rat Ok please add Henley to your list Bent is as annoying to watch for Halifax fans as he is for you guys...but we agree every team needs that guy in some form.

Ehlers does sell calls. If he earned that extra 2 minutes then thats more power to him. It could as easily backfired if the wrong ref Could have saw it as a dive. Perhaps he is getting better at it. Almost everyone in Moose country knows he is not completely innocent there. However the refs we could assume would do the same thing for Garland if he lay lifeless like that. The refs let quite a few things go in those games and the Wildcats still had significantly more PP time which they never converted into goals. Garland actually gets right up because he doesn't want to leave the ice for the PP. He waves off the trainer often. I'm not complaining about the PP time ... and our PP is operating poorly since the beginning of the playoffs ... poorer than we are use to anyway. The PP struggling is in large part due to teams adjusting and playing a tighter box, cutting off the coss ice pass and Sweeney(when he's out there) in the slot.

That's pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. Any video of the incident? Willy Palov has 2 on his twitter...

It disgusts me the number of people who think there is nothing wrong with diving or embellishing to get a call. It happens way too often and is ruining a great sport. Part of the problem is, in reality, only about 50% of stuff taht can be a penality gets called, when star players(on both teams) get hacked and whacked, they get tired of it not getting call and try and sell it a bit more. It happens at most levels of hockey.

I thought he drove Nascar? I'm confused. Didn't he play for the Bills then sign with the 49ers?

That suspension was fully deserved. That was a dirty and dangerous hit.

Here it is in better quality No way you can call that a dive, he had no idea Johnson was there. Johnson has to be smarter, he saw the numbers from the blueline in, shoves the guy 10 feet from the boards. You're putting yourself in a position to get called and potentially a 5 of suspension.

Something that jumps to me... your best player is sent flying into the board with a dirty hit and Mooseheads players almost didn't react or didn't tried to fight Johnson?!

If it matters, the Moose were on the PK and Ehlers was the only skater past the red line, as everyone else was changing. I don't believe there's a lack of team pride. We've definitely taken our share of instigators this season after hits.

And that goes for all levels of hockey.

Us against the World, that's hilarious actually considering most times it's Halifax getting the crummy end of the deal; I have to agree you guys have no idea how many times we have been screwed in the playoffs by incompetent officials; yes the officiating in the Q is by no means what they get in the OHL that actually have a clue. I'm not a fan of Johnson never have been especially considering he broke Brian Lovell's jaw right in front of me; so not sure how he is classified as captain material I wasn't a fan of Jeff Marchand being SMU's captain either they take idiotic penalties more often than not. You've been corrected about this before several times. Steven JOHNSON didn't break Lovell's or anyone's jaw. Ross JOHNSTON did and he hasn't been with the Wildcats for 2 years. He now plays for Charlottetown. Catnut are you really correcting a Hall of Fame poster? For him to be so disconnected I wouldn't have wasted a post.

Ehlers spends more time cleaning the ice than a zamboni driver
