Seems Charlottetown is the only team missing a brother connection.

Speaking of Brothers, Alexi Svechnikov will be eligible for the import draft in 2017.

Attended practise this morning, Max Lazarev ran the practise. Some very interesting variations od stickhandling and puck control drills. The Sorrentino kid might not be the best skater, but boy he has soft hands. Might be a real find there. One of the most prolific scorers in the history of the NHL (Phil Esposito), was no whirling dervish on the blades but he sure could put the puck in the net. Not saying this kid is another Phil Esposito, but if he can score in similiar fashion, we'll overlook his skating.

We still obviously have to add a couple of pieces before we can call our line up a contender but it would be sweet to see Tino's hockey sense along with his shot compensate for his skating and turn him into an impact for our top 6.

Undoubtedly. His offensive skills are top notch, including a wicked shot. Love eaglefan2's reference to Phil Esposito. Former Flyer Tim Kerr (multiple 50-goal seasons) also comes to mind. Best defense is a great offense and if the big guy plays with top-six talent then I would suggest we might be looking at a 40+ goal campaign. And, the best part is that as a free agent signing it's all bonus production!

40 goals is probably optimistic but I do think he might work as a top 6 player. On top of the shot and size that have been mentioned, I have actually been impressed with his hockey sense in the games I have seen. He could end up being the best free agent we have ever had - that distinction being Paul MacIlveen maybe?

Has anyone gotten a good look at Peyton Hoyt this training camp? Any notes ?
What should we expect from him? Obviously unfair to expect a Dubois like impact but where do people see him fitting in to start the season. 3rd line maybe ?
