I can't ... these guys are not front line players so we never hear their names. I don't follow other teams lists so I have no idea who they have if they don't make their teams. They are the guys that get called up from Jr A to fill in. Benji Curtis is another one from our list ... same thing. Over the years we've had many. In rebuilding years they have a spot ... but in a year when you have too many players for the available slots ... these are the guys that go.
When they all hit 19 ... they go on waivers because they lose their spot to a younger guy. Some find a new home ... maybe Tibbo will.
Tibbo is a good kid ... works hard ... plays a role. But when he didn't dress for some playoff games last year, you knew his time had run its course.
You suggest we trade him ... how do you know we didn't try ... which team do think would give up an asset for him when they know that if they don't trade for him then he'll probably be available on waivers ?

Curtis isn't really a good example, he's never been a Q regular. Tibbo was a solid player last year, just don't see him as a fit long term.

The Eagles already have Boucher-Fournier-Martineau penciled into their 3rd line on the lineups ive looked at who are all a year younger than Tibbo. I always find it odd how people think we can easily get assets for our spare parts via trade yet if the cats even add a guy that would be considered a spare part on another team for free for a tryout like a Guay they question the move. I'm sure Cape Breton fans would be a little ticked to see them moving actual assets for a guy like Tibbo.

I just threw our Cape Breton because it's their year to contend, I'm sure there are other contenders without a set 3rd line.

Hodge must be running out of Klima material, today, a Sacha Guay article... Did you read it all? One of the Klima's won the team fitness test - the other sat it out with minor injuries - but according to Shannon, they likely would have been 1-2 had he participated ... they trained hard all summer in Fredericton ...

The "find a nickname for the Kilmas" campaign can't be very far away! So long as they don't decide to move Klebanskyj to the wing and form the KKK Line ... My favorite line ever was the "Twin Line" with the Saulniers and Roski. 1st time in history that 3 twins play on one line!

Hodge must be running out of Klima material, today, a Sacha Guay article... It is not just Hodge - I was reading the Acadie-Nouvelle at lunch, article about Sweeney and his upcoming pro plans, then some questions for him on his expectations for the upcoming season ... his answer (paraphrasing) "We are going to surprise people - we have some young players who are ready to break out - the Klimas are going to really surprise people" - no one else was mentioned by name.

The players must be reading the papers also. I think the Cats will surprise people out of the gate, because they have fewer players at pro camps and are returning 75% of the roster. The hype will go through the roof! lol

Quick little recap from what I seen from the Cats today.
Garret Johnston played well on D. Very steady, great slapshot on his goal aswell.
Conor Garland. Sure you here this all the time but being brutally honest..he is pathetic lol. Great hockey player, awesome speed and vision, but he is a sideshow/circus too. Guy never shut up, flopped around 5-6 times and would yap at the ref. About time a ref gave him 2 and 10. He didnt play a single shift in the 3rd after his 12 min penalty at the end of the 2nd. Imama had a really good chance to knock his teeth out but didnt. Going to be hard to get 100 points again with the refs not taking his sissy like play and mouth, also I have a feeling someone is really going to hurt him this year.
Klima- 3 assists, was fanning on most of his shots but made some good passes, will be annoying all year im sure.
Glassl- Second time he was here this year and didnt even knew he played.
Wiederer- Invisable. Saw him once .
MacEwen- Another strong game, guy could have a big year, all over the ice, gets his shots on net and has pretty decent speed when he wants.
Dupre played well, made a huge glove save on Marsh.
The sea dogs played really bad and pretty much said here have this game, but Turcotte was stellar. Cant wait for season games vs the cats!

My favorite line ever was the "Twin Line" with the Saulniers and Roski. 1st time in history that 3 twins play on one line! That was a pretty accurate name... it felt like a two person line anyway. Did Roski ever touch the puck when the twins were out there with him?
