Hopefully Bertrand is still on the team. I find he's an underrated player, brings energy and grit to the lineup. Out of the forwards that got traded or waived he'd be the one I'd keep

I've been very happy with Bertrand this season. Very happy he remains with the team as the 13th forward.

He`s a valuable guy at the bottom of a lineup...brings a ton of energy. And next season he can take the place of a MacSween as a 19yr old bottom 6 grinder.

Why is Durocher mad about that pick up?
Did Val D'or have interest in Maccallum?

Why is Durocher mad about that pick up? Did Val D'or have interest in Maccallum? They traded a 9th round pick for him during the trade period, then placed him on waivers where CB claimed him. Hence , they lost a 9th rounder pick for nothing.

Why is Durocher mad about that pick up? Did Val D'or have interest in Maccallum? Val d'Or paid a 9th Round pick to acquire him but since they only wanted him as a 3rd goalie/insurance policy they had to put him through waivers(Any 19 year old not on your 25 man roster has to go through waivers). So they paid a 9th round pick(not a big loss but it's the principle I guess)for nothing. Durocher shouldn't be mad though, here's a teenager getting a chance to play in the Q while Durocher wanted him to play Jr A.

I think after today they lack a lot on that back end. There is zero depth even with everyone healthy. Those 6-7 minutes are pretty important minutes come playoff time. That's why we don't intimidate any contender. You admit the team isn't as good as 2 teams, yet say fans should expect a healthy run. To me a healthy run is making it to the 3rd round. I don't see how you can expect more then 6 playoff wins from this group with that D even at 100%. 1 playoff round victory is all anyone should expect when comparing ourselves to the competition. so with a team with basically 4 30 goal scorers and 2 20 goal scorers you think they won't continue to score in the playoffs? Yup. Defense wins.
