Kind of early but might as well make a topic to get the speculation going.
Joly, Belanger, and Gosselin were 20s so they're automatically out. As for the overagers next season it'll be interesting to see who gets the 3 spots. I think Lazarev will go to the KHL, and if he doesn't trade him for an asset or two, but I think it's more likely he goes home. Svechnikov will be in the AHL and with any luck he'll get a call up or two, hell, he might even make the opening night roster but Detroit likely won't do that. I think there's a chance Bishop is back but I wouldn't count on it, I say he goes to Charlotte. Would be nice to see Fiore back. Really good value to get him being Deschamps (Who we needed). Pure offence and character player. I think there's a chance Carozza goes pro, but I think he could be back.
Leblanc will be back if he doesn't go pro, but he would likely be shopped during the trade period if not this coming draft and I think that's possible for Bishop as well.
Levielle will be shopped if he doesn't go pro, same with McIntyre.
McCallum wont be back either. McSween has nice speed and creates energy but he wont be back. Joel Caron wont be back. If I was to guess the 3 20s, it would be Fiore, McIntyre, and Carozza.

We went for it this year, that happens when you go for a run. This run was modest and we still have our first for this year.

All we know is this: The Joly deal sent our 2017 1st to Rimouski, But, there's compensation coming for Ranger that for all we know is actually the price for Joly and we could get our 1st back. Until the dust settles, nobody really knows what picks we have over the next 2 drafts.

Doesn't take much to see how a 3 way trade can work. I have zero information that says that's happening btw. Only a possible theory. But I stand by the comment that right now we have no idea what we have for next year.

I'd like to see us leave the draft with 3 first this year I mean players that could work with what we have to move

I'd like to see us leave the draft with 3 first this year I mean players that could work with what we have to move Without making a move with a vet we could have 3: 9th for Bowers Our own Chicoutimi's for Ranger The condition on Ranger is at the Eagles choosing: Should Ranger not play in the Q this season, the Screaming Eagles will receive either a first-round pick in 2016 or 2017, or two second-round picks in 2016 from the Sagueneens. Cape Breton will activate one of those options following the season if Ranger doesn’t come back. Before any compensation picks are added Chicoutimi picks 9th in round 1 and has 4 2nd rounders between picks 8 and 16 of round 2.

Best option would be the 2016 1st, Chicoutimi will be a much improved team next year so their pick will be a late first.
