what a play by Suzuki last night on the tying goal team is looking solid so far..... playoffs could be real possibility afterall If they were in any other division they would have very good odds, the Atlantic so far looks like the best division in hockey. Good to see guys like Mete and Suzuki take strides as young guys. Plus Drouin has looked a lot better than down the stretch, Chiarot has been a really nice add to the LHD position. Drouin looks the same as this time last year... it was only really the final stretch drive where he disappeared... he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt until he shows me he can play an entire season of inspired hockey

I think it was brought up that he was dragging some sort of health issue near the end, he said something that he felt much better in terms of his wind and endurance, maybe a lung issue. I don't recall the details.

Hopefully Drouin is not out long, he’s had a very good start to the season. Shitty way to lose the game, overturned goal late and PP in OT. I have no issue with calling back the goal, but that PP in OT was a terrible call, that’s not even a penalty in the 1st period usually.

I literally didn't think they resigned him this summer.... there was no reason to given how his last couple years had gone so if they sent him back down who did they call up to replace Drouin going forward?

It sucks that he will be out that long. He was a key player and the team was doing very well. Hopefully it doesn’t end up costing them a playoff spot.

This sort of adversity and surviving it can also bring the team together more. They are in a good spot and now we will see if they grow from this little adversity.
