This form looks sketchy....lol For a team averaging 8,500 fans, there are a LOT of seats left on Ticket Atlantic for both remaining home games.

It doesn't look like an official Thunderbirds website. The Thunderbirds usually tweet it out once and then I never see it again. If I happen to see it, sometimes I have to go searching the web for it again to use it. It isn't advertised on their webpage or their Facebook page. That's why I post it here... in case others have the same experience I do. I've had no issues actually using the form. The ticket comes with a donation to whatever organization the Thunderbirds have chosen for that week. When the form is complete is goes to a representative who sends you your tickets via email or Mobile. You can't pick you seat which is unfortunate. When I purchased tickets last week I got my tickets in hand the next day. I've always gotten tickets far enough up the lower bowl that it's never a problem. But if I get those tickets and I end up in Section 3 row B or something, I'd be annoyed. I don't prefer by the glass. NLL tends to get a lot of walkups because it is a younger crowd. But still, yes 8500 is a stretch. NLL's ballooning of attendance numbers is talked about constantly.

NLL inflates attendance, Halifax average is more like 6,000-6,500 tops. Everything except the play on the floor is "bush league" and suspect. From the crappy website, poor stats history, explanation of the game, communication to fans, underselling ticket prices, season ticket holder communication and ticket purchasing, to fly by night forms for "special" pricing.

What a way to end the last home game of the season. They came to play and it was a very entertaining home win. I guess the attendance according to NLL was 10,008. I don't get why they inflate attendance #'s. There were less people there than the Mooseheads games in Rd 1, and they have over 1.5 sections blocked out in upper bowl. I can't wait for the day when there is actually 10,000, it should be for every game. It's a blast to be part of it and love the game. Here is to a win against Georgia and clinch a 1 game playoff against the Rock, who we beat at home earlier in the season. It is possible.
Edit: Mooseheads game 5 against Moncton listed 8679, 1400 less than TB's Friday. Nope don't think so. It's so silly that they add 2,000 fans to each game. TB's average for the season is listed at 8700, more than the Mooseheads. I wish they had 10000 fans each game!

One game showdown between the Thunderbirds and Rock tonight on TSN. Winner moves on in the playoffs, loser is out. It's a shame the league is structured that a team could go years without seeing a home playoff game, even if they make the playoffs. Finals are a best two out of three. Quarters and Semis are one game.
