For me, just looking at Quebec's roster, Rousseau stands out as the most obvious impact player. Is he going somewhere else?

Draft 2 High End European Forwards and Sly will add a couple of other Pieces but I really think he needs to swing for the Fences on the Euros . Just getting a solid player to report would be an upgrade on the last few years. Drafting 2 impact players doesn't seem realistic. Drafting a good player and trading for one might be the best route to take.

The Eagles need to stop having (?) to bring in OA's for very marginal improvement! At one time this organization developed their own OA leadership. 100%. Marginal improvement is the perfect wording as well. For all the in's and out's player wise we're no further ahead. Get back to finding good people and don't move them every 18 months. You can't develop any standards if every player is destined to end up elsewhere.

Jérémy Langlois could of been our OA leadship but this sly manager loves trading i guess

Looking at the Quebec roster, this is certainly their "Go For It Season" with 15 nineteen year olds on their team, 10 forwards, 4 defensemen and the goalie Rousseau, which includes 3 former Eagles.
Quebec will certainly be trying to trade as many of them as they can for draft picks and younger players in their upcoming rebuild. Hopefully, if rumors are true, a quality OA is available to the Eagles.

I think some of the Eagles' players unfortunately follow that same characteristic of "much less time defending and more time attacking" and those same players eat up major minutes every game.

AMEN to that!! It's a simple accountability fix, but I dont see it happening under the current bench boss.

I find it frustrating that some of our acquired older leadership is actually showing the remaining core players and younger players this very questionable style of play.
That's why it is so important for teams to develop their own older leaders that have learned to play disciplined two way team hockey.
