I’m glad I have a season ticket and didn’t need to deal with this ticket sale but can we unanimously agree that people buying tickets just to put them on stub hub right away for a 300% markup are a disgrace to our society? It's greasy for sure but Halifax also had many people buy season tickets mainly for the WJHC who sold their Moose tickets all year who now see a chance to make even more off these last few playoff games. Not sure there's much you can do to combat it without going to an extreme that would cost some time and money to enforce. I'd say if it happened all the time that something should probably be looked into but this is more of a perfect storm scenario...already more resellers on the market combined with high demand for a high profile championship series. It's certainly better than the flip side....the league championship not generating enough interest.

10th in Q history, 2nd team to do it in the semifinal Ah that makes more sense. Probably the 10th to win a series after losing the first two at home, not necessarily winning 4 straight. Halifax did it to Quebec in 2019, and it was done to them by Moncton in 2015.

Just checked the ticket site, make sure if you’re looking for tickets you check every few hours.
I saw 8 seats open up in Section 14 I told some friends before they quickly got snatched up.

Game 3 is on tsn 3/5 while 4 and 5 is tsn 5 since 3 is showing the ohl series at 830, glad they split the times up so can go back and forth between games, game 6 is only 3 and 7 is tsn 5 although Suprisingly game 7 in the whl is at 7 pm ATL on a Monday

This is probably my favourite final to date, obviously can throw a little bit of Moose bias in there too. If I had to rate my top 3 it would be…
1: Halifax vs Quebec (2023) 2: Quebec vs Rimouski (2015) 3: Saint John vs Moncton (2010)
I quite liked the Blainville vs Bathurst series in 2018 as well.
I can’t wait for the finals, we’re getting closer and closer to a sell out, I think by the final day all the tickets will be gathered up. And I think TV Ratings will be pretty high, even with other hockey on.
French vs English, just like last year, but with the two biggest venues in the league and arguably best markets. A slightly more normalcy of a playoff too with no more restrictions. I’ll be at HFX Sports that place is going to be buzzing for sure! Can’t wait.

They had nothing to lose as both were guaranteed cup spots as Moncton was host. Also the coaches Roy vs Nolan. Went the distance. Moncton won the Cup their first. And remarkably the same 2 teams met in the Memorial Cup final and Quebec turned the tables. Similar setup as 2015 Rimouski won the President Cup in QC host year. This is how the current Remparts have never won a Q title but have been to the Memorial Cup a couple times as the host or bridesmaid. Makes you wonder. Shawinigan won their first Q championship last year. The pressure on les Remparts.

One last playoff round left and here we go, still shocked they won four straight especially after the first 2 home losses. Line combos against Sherbrooke worked well, don't see much changing until Dumais is back!! read a few post /comments that they played better without Dumais, cant argue that but Dumais needs to come back and be in this line up for many reasons. IMO you have to account for him when he is on the ICE, he is the MVP, top scorer in the Q and I don't care what people say we need him in the line up and no matter what line he helps us. Maybe lines stay the same and Dumais comes back on third line and PP. Now you have to be accountable in defending that line because Dumais can hurt you if you don't! Defence remains the same and again read post about Whynott need to be back, this one I look at different, he hasn't been healthy and when he has come back he is not what he once was, and our D has been holding there own with out him. Players have definitely steeped up in the playoff but our D has really stepped up and it is being led by Furlong he has played the best Hockey since he has been here. His Physical game has stepped up. I hear and read that Schultz has slowly become our best D, he has played well but Furlong just plays a quiet Steady game that goes so unnoticed against the other teams best lines every game. Furlong is a plus 16 for the play offs matched up against the others team best forwards. He and Moravec are our best pair and have been all season and our leading our young defence, In the SHerbrooke series look at these defense stats for the D against a very potent offense.
Furlong 5 points and a plus 6 Moravec 3 points and a plus 4
Mackinnion 0 points and a 0 Martain 0 points and a minus 1
Schultz 3 points and a minus 1 Philips 5 points and a 0
5 out of the 6 are returning next year (future looks bright)
If our D can keep that going that will be huge in this series, hopefully we keep playing the way we have been and looking forward to this series and JUSTWINBABY.

The big reason I liked how this team was built, despite it's weaknesses, was that we had multiple "star" players who generated offense. You can lose a Dumais, and still have Lawrence, L'Heureux and Doucet all able to continue to be effective. In past years, and on other teams, losing your top scorer could be crippling. But we have a forward core that can keep ticking. Tough to defend all of them and whatever lines they are playing on.

Dumais had a red practice jersey yesterday. Today it is white. Might not play tonight but at least he's progressing. BTW, full superstition mode for the finals. I'm not making the game thread. Our good luck charm that started the comeback last series is on his way to Quebec. Someone else is up.

Mikael Lalancette confirmed that Jordan Dumais will not be in the lineup tonight, same with Cam Whynot.
It’s a 99% sellout in Quebec, with some resales left.
Halifax has a solid 1,000 left I do believe, it’s closing in pretty fast, I think by Tuesday Morning they will all be gone. I know a lot of people searching everywhere for lower bowl tickets.

Highest attendance in a playoffs series in the history of the Q?
