Lottery results 1. Cape Breton (via Saint John) 2. Val-d'Or 3. Val-d'Or (via Quebec) 4. Quebec (via Drummondville and Charlottetown) 5. Saint John (via Gatineau) Sea Dogs still with the #1 luck.

Is there a good idea of the first round or top 10 out yet?

Is there a good idea of the first round or top 10 out yet? There is no consensus on who is going where. If the NCAA kids aren't reporting, the top guys are some combo of Litalien, Plouffe, Cossette-Ayotte, Gouchie and Lygitsakos (per Pierre Cholette, the head of CSR)

Taillefer and Rozzi are LSL and brothers of kids who went NCAA. Lawrence, Dagenais and Chartrand have indicated that they are looking south. Yared is LSL so presumed to be looking south. Note: some of these guys will likely play in the Q but only for the right team

I think the consensus would be Lawrence if he was coming to the Q.

More talent here means more to be spread around for the other teams. I know people think the small markets lose and to a degree they do but I truly think everyone benefits.

I see what you mean but if Halifax gets lawrence late (for example) it would be ridicoulous they didnt earn him one bit. Id rather see them in the NCAA than teams who finished top 5 get them with 2nd and 3rd round picks. Smaller market teams simply dont benefit from a team getting the best player late becuase he wants to go to a certain team.

Quebec will have the picks to take a few. So far, they have picks 4-16-22-24-36 in the top two rounds and there's a rumour they're getting another first.
