League site says over 4000 in attendance tonight? Is that true? If so, gotta think a few more fans may come back for a second round after seeing the Eagles shut out the #1 ranked team in the CHL rankings.

Fantastic promotion! Great to see the marketing team being given some room to try out some new things! Investment in fans is huge! Perfect timing with CBU night at the Newt vs Halifax, two winning combinations for a great crowd and night to debut the promo! Lots of people in the rink which is what these young men deserve and they certainly fed into the energy! Have been invoked in CBU night at the nest for many years as student, lead organizer for 9 years and alumni fan. Great to see many people out supporting! Looking forward to more great initiatives and more concentration on fans!
Let’s go Eagles!

Just a heads-up up you can edit your posts on proboards. If you use the gear icon at the top of your post the option should be in there

As someone who doesn’t follow any CBE socials, I’ve been seeing a ton of stuff on Facebook, TikTok, etc all of a sudden… and good content at that.
Seems like there’s always a camera lurking around the dressing room, practices, etc.
I’m assuming this is a recent thing, so good on the Eagles for that.

Seems like both sides are fairly confident a deal will get done, no major roadblocks.
I'd say Irwin is looking for more renovations/improvements to the venue.

The General Manager of C200 is putting all his efforts into Curling now .

The team seems to be investing more on personalizing C200 to the Eagles brand, there are more graphics now in place along many doors, hallways, elevator, etc. Also appears a new permanent facade is being built on the Lounge.
The fresh paint and new monitors are a nice touch in the main concourse aswell. Wonder what the comish thought tonight.

I don't know where else to share this, but these local media companies suck, even in the good times. They always do stories like this. atlantic.ctvnews.ca/more/cape-breton-businesses-cashing-in-on-curling-1.6818825Event in <town/city/village>, restaurants having more customers than usual. Every single time. Water is wet. This is not the fault of the reporter, but whoever sends these reporters on these lame ass assignments.

More people in the downtown means less people patroning businesses?!!!
