Just wondering if people think Ol Sly Couturier will be active on the final 5 days ? Usually he is so it will be interesting what he does , he has shown in the past he is not afraid to make a big move . Cibulka

wouldn't be shocked to see the Eagles add an OA as well especially with Cibulka likely coming in.

wouldn't be shocked to see the Eagles add an OA as well especially with Cibulka likely coming in. Unless there's a bargain basement deal for an impact forward on the final day I really can't see it with the current prices. Keeping Shortall to play a strictly defensive role alongside a strictly offensive player like Cibulka, would make more sense than going out and further crowding the already crowded forward lineup. Lavalee could be signed for the second half, along with Newcombe potentially returning soon doesn't leave much space in the Top 6 for another OA.

things could very well pick up as of tomorrow since the Sam Savoie domino fell. Still waiting on Gendron news though.
players to watch -
F: Joseph Henneberry Donovan Arseneault Robert Orr Milo Roelens Colby Huggan Jonathan Fauchon Michael Horth Emmanuel Vermette Jeremie Minville Nathan Levesque Kassim Gaudet Noah Reinhart Eriks Mateiko Lou-Felix Denis Israel Mianscum Alexis Gendron TRADED
D: Jordan Tourigny Isaac Menard Angus Booth TRADED Ty Higgins Tomas Cibulka TRADED? Nathan Drapeau Nate Tivey Joseph Ianniello Matteo Mann
G: Olivier Ciarlo Samuel St-Hilaire
the forward group is still rich, however there's no way every name on this list is moved, but I can see around half being potentially possible.
The D market is quite slim and with rumors of Cibulka going to the Eagles it becomes even slimmer. Prices on all the Shawinigan D are likely very high.
Most goalie pieces have already moved, and all the contenders except maybe Drummondville (perfect spot for St-Hilaire?) have their guy.
I'm sure there's a few names I likely missed but this is who we expect to likely be on the market.

Chatter over on the french boards is that Gendron to Drummondville is done and will be announced tomorrow. Sounds like that was the only team he wanted to go to as well

Drummondville looking pretty scary with that add. If they go out and get St.Hilaire, and maybe another depth piece they'll be pretty set.

rumors of Alexandre Guy out of Val d'Or potentially moving...18 YO forward with 26 points in 34 games. Could be an interesting target for a lot of teams.

Gendron to Drummondville seems done.
1st 2026, 3rd 2026, 4th 2026 in return to Gatineau.
Gatineau now owes Blainville a 1st as compensation apparently.

Baie-Comeau still shopping for a forward
rumor is a 3 way fight between Baie-Comeau, Victo, and Rimouski to add Fauchon from Blainville.
