Really just want to see another line do something… lol
Through the first and half of the 2nd we had 10 shots on goal.
13 shots in the 2nd period alone now as this post is made. unsuccessful on a 5 on 3.
Hard to complain when you’re up! Go Moose Go!

Any word on Lévesque? I was on the opposite side watching him go down the tunnel - sure looked like a big wrist probem... I have heard a few things and I can't remember who said what so it might just be speculation. Someone said 4-6 weeks and I think Scott MacIntosh or someone with the Mooseheads said he was going to miss "significant" time.

You would think that at this level that it would be required to show the score and time bar on all league broadcasts. I don't even know of any Junior A broadcasts where it isn't used. Not a big deal, but it makes it a lot easier for viewers to follow the games and be more informed by knowing the time left in periods and on the PP, etc. I agree! Then again, the Mooseheads maintain there's no reason to have a goal light despite this being clearly stated in the league rules. Some rules are optional?

The game isn’t over yet but I think Milner has improved significantly.

Welp that’s 10 in a row! Wow.
Credit to Milner looks like he’s finding his game.

Milo Roelens tossed from the game… haha. If my memory serves me, Ramzi Abid was kicked out of the game in Halifax in a game vs Bathurst, and shortly there after he was traded to Halifax. Hmmm.

10 wins in a row , nice accomplishment for a team built on 4 players and a bunch of average ones!!!

Nice to see Milner with back to back solid starts. Must be good for his confidence.
We can pick the team apart all we want, but 10 wins in a row is impressive no matter what.
I thought coming into the season, as long as they could stay competitive till xmas withstanding not having Dumais for a while and avoid/deal injuries, they'd be ok. Well they've done all that and are the #1 team in the CHL lol.

Onward back home to take on Baie Comeau Thursday, should be interesting, boys got 4 days rest off meanwhile, Baie Comeau plays Saturday/Sunday then travels to Charlottetown 9 hours for a Wednesday Night game then another 4 hours to Halifax for a Thursday Night game. Get 1 day off plus a travel day. We’ll have to try to use full advantage.
Annoying part is BC will have 3 games played more then us but we’ll catch ‘em.

It was Mathieu Cataford's time to shine this time around, and IMO - as good as he was last year, he might be the most improved player on the team. He's a bull. There's nobody like him in front of the net. He never backs down - but he still stays away from the foolishness and stays out of the box. Unlike most players, you rarely see opponents trying to rough him up or get him in a headlock after the whistle. He's farm boy strong and can take a whack and stand his ground without going over the line with retaliation. His center of gravity seems incredible. Beyond what he offers to the Mooseheads, the Golden Knights have to be ecstatic with the way he is playing in his D+1. He is looking more and more like a middle-six NHLer with each passing game.

Before I post about this scuttlebutt about the Mooseheads being about 4 superstars and a bunch of average players I am assuming the 4 superstars are Dumais, Vidicek, Cataford and Rousseau.
Okay so let's look at forwards- Fournier, Crosby and Levesque are all just under a PPG which IMO better than just average.
Okay let's look at D - Furlong and Schultz are #6 and #7 in league scoring for D out of 18 times 6 = 108 regulars playing D in the league; I would say that is way above average; Moravec is currently 16th.
I don't know the motivation as to why anyone would say the Mooseheads are 4 superstars and a bunch of average players but it isn't correct.

Okay so they’re slightly above average…but they’re not taking you anywheres in the playoffs. The #1 team in the CHL should be dominating the Isles (and many other teams) night in night out and it’s not happening. Sure they’ve won 10 straight or whatever but they were one minute away from losing to the Isles…and probably deserved to lose.
