I think this has been mentioned in here before, but what's the deal with Rimouski hosting the Memorial Cup next year? Are they getting a new building or are they planning to play in their current arena? Watching the webcast tonight the place looks like an old barn. Metal gates and steps in the middle of the benches, old school opposite side benches? What criteria did they meet that we couldn't? I know our building isn't new by any means, and there's a fair bit of lipstick on our pig, but come on. It looks like a much more capable and presentable building than the Coliseé. 4.5 millions investissement Team will begin with 10-15 match on road Les travaux qui seront effectués au Colisée comprennent essentiellement quatre points centraux : le remplacement des bandes et des baies vitrées, la relocalisation du banc des joueurs, l’installation d’un nouveau tableau indicateur et l’aménagement de 12 nouvelles loges. journallesoir.ca/2023/07/19/les-travaux-prevus-au-colisee-ne-font-pas-lunanimite/#Thank you for the information! And thanks for showing up on the board. It is always nice to have a good information source from the Quebec based teams for us here, when we do not see your team often though the season.

We were the only Team in the Conference that didn't sweep .....any cause for concern ? .....Not that I think we lose this Series ( I originally picked CB in 7 ) but lets say we lose Game 5 and have to come back home to clinch ......any concern that the extra games catch up with us against what looks like a showdown with Chicoutimi ? Or am I just over thinking this ?

Honestly I'm of the same mindset I don't want to be going to Centre 200 Monday night for a game 6 as the longer this series drags out the harder a 2nd round match up with Chicoutimi will be in my mind (20-4 in their last 24 games)

We were always going to get their best when up against elimination at home. We just need to take care of our own business. Either way we come home after game 5 so whether its a week off before game 1 or we play a game 6 I don't think the added games matter in terms of that next series. Its positive momentum into game 1 of round 2 either way.

The way they handled the wildcats i wouldnt be so confident lol Masse and Guite are a special talent with lots more not to mention Chicoutimi has been on an absolute tear

If we beat Rimouski it should be a fun series against Chicoutimi. Can't recall what the season series split was but I think it was 1-1.

Let's not forget Moncton has lost, including playoffs, 20 games of their last 36 or so, while Cape has been one of the top teams in the league since the trade deadline. Full marks to CHI for the 4 game sweep, but if they meet in round 2, they are in for a much different opponent.

Coming home for game 6 is not the end of the world, one could argue that too much time off is never a good thing either.
